Family Nails Care and Spa in Fredericksburg, VA

I will start by saying I love my nail tech and would recommend her to anyone. She does a fabulous job and gives great massages when getting pedis. I always make an appointment with her and I'm a regular customer. I leave good tips. I always come on time and the one time I knew I wouldn't make it, I called ahead to cancel. I am the sort of customer you would think the salon would like to keep. Today was my last day coming here. The owner/managers, Ben & Jennifer are terrible at managing. They force their techs to take whoever walks in, even if it's 5 minutes before your appointment and then force you to sit and wait up to an hour until your tech you made an appointment with finally finishes up and can help you. By then, what's the point of even making the appointment? There is none. I asked why they do this, and they said if someone walks in they can't just leave them sit there if they have a nail tech available, even if it's the one you have an appointment with five minutes after the walk in arrives. I've been coming here for two years now and I will say my appointment has been on time only 2-3 times and I come once or twice a month. Ben and Jennifer seem to value the random walk-ins over their loyal repeat customers and I'm done being one. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Preferably to a place who knows how to handle booking and keeping appointments.

Best place to get nails done. Call ahead to make and appointment. Get the SNS and ask for Ben. It last for at least 3 weeks and could easily go to 4 and that's never happened to me before. Found my new place for sure!

I got a manicure here and Jennifer did a great job on my nails, she got them to look exactly like the picture I showed her! It was only $50 for ombré nails with tips added. I highly recommend.

They do a decent job. Actually, the best Ive had done in the area. But...appointments mean nothing. They will take whoever walks in the door first. Plan to spend a ridiculous amount of time waiting and being shuffled between technicians. For that reason alone, I will probably seek another salon.

Been coming here for over 2 years now. I've tried different places to get my nails done but nothing beats the service and quality than this place! Only thing I would say is that they have a TV with no cable and internet is pretty bad. But that won't stop me from coming here cause they do a really great job compared to every where else I've tried!
