I purchased a Groupon for a shampoo/deep condition treatment/cut/blow dry for my 18 year old daughter. We clearly told the stylist this was a trim only. When my daughter walked out her hair was 3 inches shorter, layers uneven, and her tips were fried by the flat iron because the stylist was clueless how to blow out curly hair. My daughters hair is very fine so the botched cut was extremely apparent. When I expressed the uneven haircut and layers, the stylist brushed it off. My daughter was so upset (myself as well) that I immediately took her to another salon to fix the damage. Obviously we will never go back.....buyer beware. And for the record, I've never posted a negative Salon review on Yelp.
I feel like I was extremely taken advantage of at this salon. I asked for a single process color and showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted. After it was done I was surprised to find out I was paying almost double what I originally thought I was supposed to pay. They told me to do the look I wanted I needed a double process and that is why they charged me double. I feel like this is something that should have been addressed before doing my hair. Any other salon I have been to has told me before if they needed to do anything extra and how much it would charge. After leaving I called the salon the next day to figure out why it was so much (because I wasn't given a receipt so I couldn't look at it) and talked to the receptionist. She told me she thought that it was extremely pricy and that she would have the owner call me. I talked to Dave, the owner, and have never had a business owner be so condescending and rude when I tried to explain how I didn't know why I was charged so much and that is wasn't clear. I will NOT be back at this salon and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Shame on you!
Great service at reasonable prices. I've been getting my hair done here for many years because Becky knows exactly how to make my unruly curly hair look great. Her color suggestions have always turned out perfect for what I was looking for. All the stylists are talented & professional.
