Owner Farren did my hair for over a year or so and really damaged my hair. She was not careful, and her technique caused damage, drying and breakage to the point of having to go dark again. I didn't realize why my hair was getting dry and breaking until I went.to.another stylist who specializes in blond.

After deciding that I will never come back here, I am finally speaking out about my experience. This place ruined my hair. I have been here about 4-5 times over the past few years. I was referred to Sheila by a friend and my first visit was a haircut. I have very curly hair and was impressed with how Sheila cut my hair. My next service was a cut again several months later by Ashalina. I was happy with the service and loved how Ashalina cut my hair. Now to the color. For years I would go to a salon in Seattle to get my hair foiliaged. I love that stylist but she is very hard to book with as she's booked months in advance. I decided to give Elisen salon a go at coloring my hair. Sheila was my colorist for this service. I got a partial highlight and asked for olaplex. When I left the salon my hair was not at all what I asked or thought it would be as it was incredibly blonde. But I loved it! It was so different and bright. I did not necessarily like how distinct the difference was between the back of my head and the rest was due to the partial but I figured we could fix it at the next visit. January of 2023 was my next color service with Sheila. I show up for my appt and Sheila proceeds to tell me that she has another client with the same name coming in that afternoon for a service and she got us confused while she was talking to the other client. We laughed it off as I asked for her to do the exact same thing as last time. During my service Sheila let's me know that they are running a special where I can get a free express facial or eyebrow wax with a service. Sheila explained it was to help build their new estheticians clientele. I asked if she was fresh from school and Sheila explained that she was not a new esthetician but that she is very quiet and timid. I agree to book an express facial for AFTER my service. After rinsing the dye out of my hair, Sheila informs me that she is actually going to send me to my facial with a towel wrapped around my hair. The girl doing the facial is very sweet and asks about any allergies or skin irritations. I tell her that I cannot have anything grapefruit or citrus on my face as it's sensitive. She cleanses my face and then does a "gentle exfoliation" which literally felt like rocks scraping my face. It was so painful and I couldn't wait for her to stop. She then puts a mask on my face that smells citrusy and my face immediately starts burning. I tell her my face is on fire and she immediately removes the mask. She then says that she'll apply a gentle mask but at that point, my skin was already irritated. The second mask she puts on felt cool for literally 20 seconds before my face started burning again. I told her it was burning and she decided to explain how it shouldn't be burning and starts reading me the ingredients which I reply please wipe this off my face because my face is on fire! She wipes it off and explains a different mask. I ask her to just put some aloe on my skin and call it good. My face was incredibly red and inflamed and later developed a chemical burn. After my terrible facial, Sheila sits me back in her chair, takes off the towel and my hair is a different color than before. She ended up running behind and needed to start on her next client and asked someone else to dry and style my hair. I don't remember the assistants name but she asks if I had plans. I was going to a birthday party that day so I did want my hair styled. After she was done drying my hair, Sheila comes over to tell me how gorgeous it is. I said "Sheila, I don't hate it but, this is NOT the color you did last time. It is dark and just doesn't look right" Sheila said "it's the same Formula that I put on your account notes. Trust me it's the same and it looks fabulous" I tell her that it's not ugly but it's different than what I expected. Then the whole damn salon comes up and tells me how gorgeous my hair looks. I left and was so upset with how ugly my face and hair looked that I didn't even go to that birthday party. What pissed me off about the whole thing was how everyone tried to gaslight me when they knew my hair was messed up. Not only that, Sheila FRIED my hair. I am still growing out my hair from the irreparable damage. I have spent months and hundreds of dollars on product to try to repair my hair with no success. I will never go back to this salon.

I went in today with my 5 year old. We both needed a haircut. Chelsyea cut my 5 year old hair. She was so patient with her due to it being her first hair cut. Kassie did a great job with my hair. Everyone was so patient with my 5 year old while I was getting my hair cut. I really appreciate it. We will definitely be going back.

Made an appointment through Vagaro for 4:30. I was under the impression I would be late, so I called and was advised that the esthetician was running behind as well so I would be ok. I actually arrived right in on time and entered the establishment. I was not greeted at all but instead my child and I were looked at as if we didn't belong. I waited almost 15 minutes in the waiting area, without being acknowledged. I ended up just leaving, but it was a waste of time. I was definitely the only woman of color in the joint. But again, they didn't even welcome me to spa.
