I booked a last minute appointment and they squeezed me in, thankfully. I had a great experience and the stylist was really friendly and did a great job with my hair.
Having made an appointment for 10 am on a weekday and receiving a confirmation of acceptance (date & time), I arrived 10 minutes early. The writing on the door of the premises said to wait in your car until the stylist calls. I called in to let them know that I had arrived and the person answering the phone said "Janae will call when she is ready but I haven't seen her yet". Five minutes after 10 I received a call from Kim who said that Janae has called in sick today and doesn't have you on the books, and doesn't know where you came from, we don't have you down with an appointment. Apparently the confirmation of appointment means little to this establishment and if the stylists want more of a fluid schedule they should find another calling. Perhaps they should realize that others work their schedules, meetings and other appointments around this one. I wonder...will I be compensated for my time and gas?
