Divas Nail Spa in Somerset, NJ

Plain and simple, I'm not happy with this manicure at all. It's sloppy and I could have just done them myself. Cuticles were poorly cleaned... paint on my skin... The manicurist dipped my hands in the same water used for soaking, dabbed some lotion real quick and asked if I wanted to pay first. I was so confused? Like, can I get a hot towel, please? She seemed annoyed by my honesty and called over another lady. Instead of trying to rectify the situation, I was told it looks fine and when it drys I can wash my hands to remove the paint that was on the skin. This defeats the purpose of me coming out and spending my time and money for you to do the job. Maybe their specialty lies elsewhere, because they seem to have pretty loyal clientele. I don't live in this area - just visiting family for the weekend. So definitely not returning. But it is annoying that I'll have to find time to get this fixed before my trip this week.

If I could give this a zero I would. Ridiculous place, I asked how long for a pedicure, they told me only a few minutes. I asked how long because I only had 40 minutes they said I'd be out of there before then. I soaked in the water for 20 minutes while the lady finished the other girls pedicure. Then told me a few more moments while she was setting everything up and then went to go work on someone else's nails. I'm sorry but that's just ridiculous.

My first visit: where's the button for 6 stars? Technician Linda is extremely talented, efficient, pleasant and gave me probably the best "painted" gel manicure I've ever had--and I've had them for years all over the country. I showed her screen shots of several designs-- from complicated to simple--and asked her which she would be comfortable doing. "Any of them!" I thoroughly believe she could do anything. I have lovely multicolored pink roses with multitoned little leaves. They got busy so she worked efficiently but didn't hurry through or skip anything. I don't love the salon atmosphere much, but who cares? 6 weeks layers: it just keeps getting better! There's nothing I've asked of Linda that she can't do perfectly (and I scour the internet for some intricate nail art designs.). Considering how much time she spends, the price is reasonable.

Vievoo Nail Salon is more than a nail salon. The skill level of each technician is above average! They actually pay attention to detail. Al is the leadership driver who runs a tight ship, but is also sensitive to treating his staff with respect. I had to write this review because, Diane who usually does my nails was so kind. I got caught in the rain with no umbrella and she and Al both asked me if I needed a lift home, which was only a few blocks away. Diane completed my nails, then took me home in the pouring rain. This was the day before Hurricane Michael. She dropped me off with a smile. I LOVE coming to VieVoo. It's a way to relax and be pampered. I highly recommend this shoppe!

Great experience at this nail salon. They did a beautiful job for my daughter's prom!
