Dee's Spa Concepts in Goleta, CA

My eyebrow threading experience at Dee's was amazing. She fulfilled what I wanted as a man. It was efficient and comforting on Dee's service. It is currently done at Dee's house, the current address is incorrect but very close by. I will be coming back, thank you Dee!

For someone who brags about their work being amazing and doing this for 20+ years I'm very disappointed with the results. This is not worth $15, I've never paid so much for my eyebrows to look this shitty. I really tried giving Dee the benefit of the doubt after reading Shekina's review, but I'm definitely not too happy with my eyebrows. And if you haven't read that review, please do in addition to mine. Saturday, January 4th was the last day she would be in town because she's leaving for India and won't return until February. So this was my chance to give her services a try. Dee was constantly speaking to the customer (who's waiting for me to finish) about how she was in a hurry because she wasn't even supposed to come in today and she needed to go home because she hasn't started packing yet. That's exactly what I want to hear, that you're rushing. Dee asked my opinion and step by step what I thought of my brows which I thought was great. But since she filled them in with an eyebrow pencil in a dark color, it was difficult to tell what I was really looking at. And I didn't realize until later when I took off the eyebrow color and actually examined them closely I noticed how poorly they were executed. The hair on my left eyebrow is longer than the right. And what I mean by that is she asked if she could trim the long hairs. I said okay because everyone normally does that. Especially when you get get your eyebrows waxed instead of threaded. My right eyebrow hair was trimmed VERY SHORT. My left eyebrow seems like nothing was even trimmed. But I couldn't tell since they were colored in. Also I noticed I still have a few stands of hair in the middle. I LOVE getting my eyebrows threaded but can't seem to find a place in Santa Barbara. I'm from San Diego and I've been going to the same place for 5 years and I can't always make a trip out 3 hours away. Brow Experts Threading Salon in Oceanside/Encinitas is the best. Honestly I'm not a fan of getting my eyebrows waxed since I've been threading for so long. I've found such great results after threading but I need to find someone out here who knows what they are doing. So if you know anyone, please let me know!

I don't usually leave reviews but I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received. I went to Dee's eyebrow service in IV. All she did the entire time was brag about how she was in the newspaper for the work she did which is great but she literally didn't listen to what I asked for. I haven't threaded my brows for over a year because I was waiting to get back home where I usually do it, but I really wanted to get them done ASAP for an event, so I decided to try it out. I told her I didn't want a high arch because it's just my preference and she replies with "I don't like straight brows I don't do straight brows." I wasn't asking for straight brows, I literally just don't like high arches. She does them in like 2 minutes and she doesn't even ask for permission and she proceeds to fill in my brows with powder that's obviously way too dark for my skin tone. This was her way of trying to sell her own product line "It's only $10." I also asked her to thread my lip line and she completely forgot because she was eager to serve her next customer who she happens to have served before. She probably spent a minute on my lip. I got home and there are literally patches of hair still left on my lip line and patches of hair left on my eyelid and the area around the tail of my eyebrows. She charged a total of $22 ($15 for brows and $7 for lip), which I would have been COMPLETELY fine with if she had done a good job but I'm extremely disappointed. The place I went to back home charged $7 for brows and $25 for full face AND they did everything I asked for with exceptional service. Not only did she rush with me to help serve her next customer, she seemed to care more about showing off than listening to my request. I'm never coming back here, what a waste of $22!!

Excellent threading experience twice now by Dee. I had been getting my brows done in San Francisco for years and was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a good one down here in SB. Dee is terrific! Very experienced and fast. I highly recommend her.

I'm a couple weeks late to this review, but Dee is such an amazing threader she literally leaves your eyebrows to perfection! She truly delivers in customer service and skills. I am always scared to let people thread my eyebrows and as a college student in the area, I always waited until I'd come home to get them done. I'm glad I took the chance to do my eyebrows here because she takes the time to see what shape my eyebrows look best in and let's me know where not to touch to let them grow out. Definitely going back for another appointment soon
