I've been going to this place for haircuts for a few years and have never had a problem no matter the stylist. This time was different. I'd never had this stylist before but that's not usually a problem because have simple straight hair.

Unfortunately, she seemed annoyed and like she hated her job. I gave her specifications, but she seemed to already have a plan in mind for my hair and did what she wanted. She asked if I liked it, and I said no, so from that point on she didn't ask my opinion again. All in all, she spent about 5 minutes on my haircut and it's passable, but I don't like the length and neck shape.

Next time I know to book specific stylists. I'm glad the others are a lot better.

I like that I can be really talkative or mum during my haircut. They won't get offended if I ask for a silent cut after the initial questions. Sometimes I have a lot on my mind or had a stressful day and don't feel like chit chat.

They can keep notes on what size trim or blade you like on your profile in case you don't need a cut as often. This is great since I don't trim my hair as often as my sides.

AND, you can get a hot towel at the end! Sometimes they also have product to sample. I usually buy Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade for soft bouncy curls.

Weird experience in here. I was offered coffee then told it was just a joke. The stylist was inexperienced and rushed even though there was no one behind me. I was not asked whether I wanted a square or rounded neck. I was very awkwardly pressured to leave a tip at the point-of-sale and monitored by the stylist as I chose my options in the card reader. I am not going back. Please do better guys.

I was in need of some help with my hair. I popped in on a Monday and scheduled a Tuesday hair appointment.  I did a wash, blow dry, and flat iron. Hazel did a beautiful job. I left with shiny, fabulous smelling hair. She was very professional and detailed. She was very good and separated my curls without breaking them and drying in small sections. She was delicate with areas that needed detangling. She was methodical in a good way. She never seemed overwhelmed by my amount of hair. I have curly hair, so people are surprised when they flat iron it, and it almost goes to my bum. Overall, i am very pleased with  Hazels work and found that $65 is very reasonable for my length hair.

I highly recommend Hazel for a wash, blowout, and flat iron.  Im happy I found her.

Given that my sister is a stylist, I am spoiled by her usually cutting my hair for me. When she and my other stylist was out of town, I was on a desperate, last minute search. Whenever my hair grows over my ears, it becomes intolerable. I looked online to make an appointment and saw the no wait time and rushed in. Sadly the website has inaccurate wait times. There was only one stylist there upon arriving and he was already booked up until two other stylists came in at 11 am.

Nonetheless, I returned later in the day and saw Philip. He was a delight and hysterical. I was pleased with my cut overall, however, most stylists use a mirror to show you the final product and a hair dryer to get the loose hair off of the apron.
