Da-Vi Nails in Ogden, UT

Against my better judgement I decided to grab a desperately needed and wanted pedicure while I was getting groceries at Walmart.
While clipping and trimming the nail tech was digging really deep.  It was so uncomfortable I was squirming in my seat and almost cried. She finally realized and asked if I was fine. She said she made me bleed but that I was ok. Both big toes were in pain. She finished up and I left $40 later.  
After a couple of days one toe started to get infected. I tried soaking it and doing home remedies but ended up at the doctor.   It's been a month now and 2 doc appointments and 2 rounds of serious antibiotics and one more appointment with a podiatrist in a couple weeks.
Needless to say I will never return. It was so not worth all this trouble.

after 3 hour total and  a long wait,  I left with too short nails and bloody cuticles on five of my nails and $60 bill!!  Also the tables were not very clean.

No don't come here.  Customer service is zero.  We called and asked if we could make an appointment.  She said no, just walk ins so we came in.  Only one person here and they sat us at filthy tables.. see pictures and walked away without saying anything.  It's been 20 minutes without a word while she is working on someone else.

Why such dirty stations.  I only showed a picture of one but multiple ones were dirty

Great nail place, don't let the fact that it's located inside Walmart freak you out!

I called and made an appointment with ease, I was turned down by another place while trying to make an appointment hours in advance... but this place took my appointment with no hesitation!

I didn't realize it was in Walmart, I called while trying to find it and they let me know...

What I like about it is that it doesn't have any chemical smells because it's so open. That's a nice change from the typical salon.

They sat me right away but I will admit they were slammed (not sure they realized it was a holiday when staffing for the day) so I did wait quite a while but my feet were in warm water and I was in a massage chair so I can't really complain!

The staff is attentive and accommodating. They didn't chat with me much but I'm okay with that, it doesn't bother in the least when they talk amongst each other. Who wouldn't wanna shoot the shiz with your coworkers during a long and busy workday.

I chose the #5 pedicure and it was nice! Trang is really detail oriented and does a fabulous job. I got gel and the type of gel I got was super glittery and actually costs $5 more than the normal $10 up-charge but I didn't mind. It's perfect.

I didn't plan on having my nail color changed to match my toes but went ahead and did it bc why not! It was an extra $25 for the gel change. Amy hooked me up and really made my nails look bomb. The thinned then out a bit from my last set (which I just had done like a week ago).

So yea Trang and Amy are THA BOMB. All of the employees work very hard so DON'T SKIMP THE TIP PEOPLE!

Prices are a bit on the expensive side, I don't like the up-charging but I will say... my nails look amazing.
