Davi Nails in Ogden, UT

Haven't had any real problems with Davi Nails. I have been a long time customer and most of the techs have been very friendly and do good work. Sometimes it feels rushed but I always get a good job done. They have only a particular time frame to do what work you want. They don't have hours or a very long time. As a licensed nail tech myself I perfectly understand their situations. Also, don't go to any nail place at all if you are worried about being accidentally cut by a tool or accidentally burned by a nail drill. Equipment with sharp edges is used and nail drills are sanders that work at high speeds. Equipment even if best used right and correctly can accidentally cut skin or burn. I have been cut and burned both. It gets taken care of. In nail tech training I was cut several times. It happens. There are risks to getting manicures, pedicures and nail jobs. To think there are no risks involved is not realistic. And therefore, you shouldn't be going to these places. Even the very best nail salons in the world aren't perfect by any means. So either accept the risks or just don't do it and go without nails. As for the store, it's not that bad and it's not unclean. I have been a customer for over a decade and not had a cleanliness issue. Could some things be better or improved? Yes, that's always the case. There's always room to improve. Also, I love the Vietnamese people and I enjoy talking with them. They know me and who I am. I once knew a basic Vietnamese conversation and I can say a few words. I need to study! Lol So there's a great reason to use Google translate to help with conversation and understanding of what I'm looking to have done. It has worked. I know at times customers who can't understand Vietnamese get upset because they think they should be part of a conversation that the techs are having among themselves. No, I disagree. Customers should be patient, understanding and more open minded. Let them teach you a thing or two and maybe come away having learned something new.

I had a gal manicure at Davi nails May 3rd, went back for a pedicure and a polish redo  on may 8th and needed another nail repolished today and they wouldn't do it. The lady they tried to tell me it was time for a whole new manicure because I had it done 3 weeks ago. She asked to me come back later when the operator who originally gave me my manicure would be ther but couldn't give me a time, just later. I won't be going back there again!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! Sloppy working stations, the staff isn't the least bit friendly, the utensils are dirty and my nails look HORRIBLE. I just made an appt somewhere else to have them redone. I wish I could do 0 stars but I can't. Save your money!

Not a good experience. Sloppy work and very rushed. I went with my daughter and the lady working on her cut her foot and it was bleeding. The place is not clean.
