D & J Nails in West Lafayette, IN

On September 27, 2023, I had an 11:00 am pedicure. I stopped the tech before she completed my pedicure because she cut me several times (right big toe) & I was bleeding. She seemed to be oblivious to the fact that she had injured me until I told her to stop. I am not new to pedicures so know this isn't "normal". Very very disappointed. I will not be returning to this salon.

They don't respect their customers and they don't respect the appointments they set. It's not fair for a customer who has an appointment to wait when you're taking so many walk ins because you want money. Our time is valuable and I will not patronize a business that doesn't respect me.

Worst nail salon experience i've ever had. went in to get almond french tips. got a disaster that doesn't even match on both hands. plus she kept pulling on me and being so rough. i've been a few times but this was the last straw. don't waste your time or money here.

To say this place is hit or miss would be accurate, except the misses outweigh by far. Basically, one person is fantastic and everyone else is rude (yelling at other people into your face), argumentative (they will tell you the color you want isn't good and insist on something else), and constantly distracted by texting.
This would be fine if the work was good, but it is usually TERRIBLE. What is on my nails right now is so bad I am rebooking another appointment elsewhere.  Huge gaps, hardened dip powder all over my hands, mishapen nails. Basically, if you cannot get an appointment with Ashley, go somewhere else. It is truly awful.

I have been probably going to this place since early 2020 this happened during July of 2022 and I have got my nails done multiple times but the last time was not it I was getting these simple nails with a a little design on them for only them to look very sloppy like I think I could have bought a Amazon kit and done better saying she wanted to charge way to much for them and was so rude and like I don't mind if you talk in ur Language but like I felt like they were always talking crap abt people not only that they always took in walk ins over people who have booked appointments. There also very unsanitary and I had went to this other nail place where they proceeded to tell me how the nails they had put on could have cost me a nail bed infection. Overall this place is horrible and the manger is so bitchy for no reason and can't own up to when she is wrong -1/10 tho want a good nail place to go to Queen nails & spa they do such a good job on my nails !
