Christopher's Hair Salon in St. Louis, MO

I have been coming to Don at Christopher's for years and have nothing but great things to say.  My hair is very fine and sensitive to harsh coloring chemicals.  Don takes time and care to make sure the color looks good without damaging my hair.  The color always looks well blended and natural- many don't know that I color my hair!  When I want to make changes to the cut and color he listens, which is important to me.

Not only is Don wonderful with hair, he's also kind and professional.  My husband has started to go to him and he is also incredibly pleased.

A recommendation from a friend who has similar hair to me was what brought me to Don at Christopher's Salon. I've been so pleased with every interaction I've ever had with Don over the years.

Don colors my hair every 5 weeks. He listens to me each and every time. He gives me his honest, professional opinion when I have an idea of a change I want to make. He has high standards for how his client's hair will look.

I have recommended Don to several friends and all of them have gone to him and stayed with him and that is a testament to his work. I would highly recommend Don at Christopher's to anyone who wants a great colorist and stylist.

Very unprofessional staff all around. Don was rude and inexperienced. He could not perform simple blonde highlights, as they ended up being uneven, chunky and overall not blended well. The staff ended up leaving an accidental voice message of them complaining about the request to fix the errors. Take your money elsewhere.

To preface, I am insanely picky about my hair, and if ever there was a thing to make me Hulk out on a nuclear scale, it would be a bad haircut. And that was how, 2 years after moving to STL, I'd yet to have a haircut in this town. I would squeeze my trims in every time I visited PHX, but sometimes months went by.

Christopher's was the miraculous solution to all of my STL hair problems. My husband had been coming here for the past couple years (after many trial and error visits at other salons) and Chris, who is both stylist and owner here, does a fantastic job each and every time. I finally plucked up the courage to come here one day, and my only wish is that I didn't wait so long. This place is legit.

I've worked with Vince and Holly, both of whom exceeded my expectations. They take the time to listen to customer requests and work tirelessly to make sure that you get out of that barber chair nothing short of satisfied. All of the stylists here are highly experienced in a variety of services - cutting, coloring, etc. For newcomers, I recommend going to the salon's website christophershairsalon.com to check out each stylist's portfolio to find the right fit for your needs. Also note that prices here vary depending on which stylist you get.

The salon itself can be a little tricky to find, but it's on the first floor of the Simmons Bank building. The interior is clean, sleek, spacious, and overall looks upscale. There is a parking lot behind the building with spaces reserved for Christophers's customers, which is great! I also love that you can schedule appointments in the evenings i.e. after regular work hours with some stylists. Appointments do fill up fast but they will do their best to accommodate your schedule here.

I really cannot recommend Christopher's highly enough. Literally would not allow anyone else to touch my hair in this town.
