Chenal Nails & Spa in Little Rock, AR

I called and made an appointment for my son and I. I requested Hannah for my pedicure and my son was to get a manicure. He waited exactly 22 mins with no service, 2 workers where just sitting at their stations and no one made a move to help him. Not even acknowledging his existence. A Caucasian female came in and they sat her at a station and she got immediate service with two workers jumping to help her. Yes, you guessed it we are black individuals. Hannah is the only one to acknowledge my black son. This is so sad that in this day and time that our black men are still getting the George Floyd treatment. I have 3 black sons and have had to talk to them about the fact that because they are black and male that they already have 2 strikes against them and that society is waiting to put their knee on their neck for any little thing that is deemed wrong. Hannah is awesome and always does a beautiful job on my pedicure but the other individuals need to check their attitudes against black males. Don't automatically assume that we won't tip or will make a scene. You don't know anything about us but race played a big part in this treatment. My 23 year old black son didn't make a scene he told me he was leaving and that's what he did peacefully. So disappointed in this business. The owner needs to do some race sensitivity training with their employees. Once again Hannah I applaud you for looking past race and just wanting to provide the best service that you could.

Used to go here regularly but now will not be returning. I got an ombré style done 2 weeks ago worth $75.. loved them.. went back to get different ombré colors and was charged $90 because "black is more difficult to do" and she still did a HORRIBLE job still trying to justify the price. Won't be back

I had an appointment at 1:30, they attended me until 3:00 and doing the quick manicure, which disappointed, very bad work, I do not recommend this salon. My nails were very badly painted.  How disappointed I am in this place.

As you enter the door, minorities are not greeted only the majority ethnic group.  I entered the facility approximately 2 hours ago, I've watched the 2 young ladies at the door pick and choose who to work on.  Later, to find out the  bias young ladies are the owners.  Explains a lot!  Some, she turn away and some she say come back in 2 hours others she'd say go to chair number....  Some she says wash your hands others she'd just allow back.  I have literally watched them work on others who came in after me, tell some to wash their hands and some she do not.The young ladies are very bias in their treatment of service.  After sitting here for 2 hours, I can honestly say the Asian ladies DO NOT want to service African Americans.  I have not spoken a word just observed.  Women of color, I'm honest when I say this establishment does not want our business.  Yes, it's a nice facility but the owners' hearts are ugly.  Update:  After the owner noticed me writing a review, she serviced me and it took 40 minutes.  Total of 3 hrs for a fill only!  Smh

I made an account just for this review . I just finished getting my nails done here and it was one of the worst experiences that I've ever had . The guy who did my nails was very rude and had a bad attitude from start to finish . I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or what, but it was totally uncalled for. I can usually tolerate a lot but this was really bad . I come to this place a lot, but after this experience I'm going to have to find somewhere else to go .
