Best Nails Salon & Spa in Little Rock, AR

I am giving 5 stars because although Ryan likes to give me a hard time 90% of the time, his acrylic nails last nearly an entire month! If I ever break one, he fixes it at no charge, after only some slight bickering..
Seriously, his work is impeccable so the longevity of the nails holds value.

Facilities are new and nice. Sadly the people working there and the quality of the services are  the worst I have ever experienced anywhere not just Little Rock but in any city.  Just as expensive as any other salon in the area but the bare minimum was completed. Even though they have an entire row of children's chair, it was made plain they do not like children or dealing with children and my daughter is very well behaved and barely spoke the entire time. The bare minimum was completed for my pedicure. The worst I have ever had. There was literally one other person there the entire time we were there except for the people who work there. No matter what time of day you are there I have never seen Heights spa and nail salon deserted like that. That Should have been my first clue.   the receptionist was extremely rude. If you think you are too intelligent to work as a receptionist in a nail salon go back to school so you can get a better job. Also to you and all the other people working there - don't treat people based on how they're dressed - they may just not have had time to put on their makeup and May have been busy that morning. Will not be back and I will tell others.

Take heed, there is a reason this place has 2 stars!!!! This is my first time ever writing a negative review. However, the way I was treated at this establishment, I had to post.
This is the 3rd time I've been to "BestNails" after following one of the technicians (4 locations), Summer, over 10 years. She does an excellent job waxing my eyebrows & I am a picky person when it comes to my brows. Since moving to this place, I've never felt a positive vibe when greeted, especially from the owner. Just a weird feeling. I have observed a difference w/ how he communicates w/ AA & Hispanics from other ethnicities. Yesterday (08/04/2023), I made an appt for 3:30 & again had to wait. I sat & waited patiently until I noticed it was 3:57 & asked how much longer b/c I had another appt. I was told she was almost finished and could head back. I told the owner I did not want to go back there and wait even longer. Therefore, I sat up front for 5 more minutes and then he said she was ready. I went to the back and stood. There were 2 nasty cotton balls & a used towel laying on the lounge chair. A kind worker saw my frustration & made the manager aware that i was still waiting. I still waited an additional 6 minutes before Summer came. Once she entered, I was never given an apology for the wait. She said, "I am busy & u just have to wait." I told her that's the purpose of having an appointment & b/c of their ineffectiveness of not knowing how to schedule, I will be late for my next appt. Then..... she asked me to lay on the chair. I told her the towel was gross & I needed a new towel. She debated w/ me about that, but eventually retrieved another towel. As I was about to lay back, she continued to voice her concern about it being the weekend & I just have to wait. I told her the last time I was there, it was not the weekend & had to wait so that was an excuse. I also told her that I was appalled as to how she was speaking to me after I have been w/ her for many years and brought her several clients. Still, no apology. When she used extra force on my forehead as she placed a glob of wax on my brow, I removed her hand and left. I was furious, frustrated, angry, & also hurt by the way I was treated by Summer after so many years of service. I am not saying that she is racist, but perhaps the negative environment & rapport her manager portrays have manifested w/in her character.
I have shared this experience w/ family and friends that I've sent to her & recommend they never return. Again, there is a reason this place has 2 stars and I recommend not giving them 1 cent of your money or time. Disgusted, disrespectful, & disappointed!!!!! We deserve to be treated better!!!

The manager racial profiles. I paid and he chased me out of the door to make sure I had a receipt and he SEEN ME PAY. I would not recommend black people go to this nail shop. The work is mediocre and it seems like they just play with your nails and toes. Seems like they cater to white customers only as well.

Nice, clean facility in a convenient location. Unfortunately, I just have not been able to get a good manicure here. My experiences have consistently included misshapen/uneven nails, brush marks/not smooth finish, polish outside of nails/on skin, etc. And don't bother asking for anything special... like Hailey Bieber nails. Even with a detailed "recipe" with photo, color name/#, number of coats & order, steps....no luck, unfortunately. I guess I'm asking too much for a "no appointment needed" nail salon, unfortunately.
