Blush Nail Bar & Spa in Rock Hill, SC

I've been to blush several times since January, primarily for pedicures. I have had two dip manicures. The first was fine. I had the second on Monday 6/5 and it has been two and a half days and it has already chipped. Bao was the nail tech for this horrendous manicure. For the price of a dip manicure, you should have flawless nails for at least a week or two. My pedicure from Emily was also sub-par with polish all over the edges of my toes. Don't go to Blush on Celanese unless you want to pay a ton for crappy nails.

I just walked in to ask for a full set, a 20 year old looked down her nose and said "we are appointment only" good luck with that Karen! Never again Lol  I would give 0 stars but I can't

The salon was very clean and the nail techs did an efficient job (Celanese Rd location). However, the entire staff I interacted with were very unfriendly and seemed to be very inconvenienced whenever they were asked questions by myself or other customers.  Not once did they try to participate in any conversation that I tried to initiate. No one there seemed to like their jobs or each other. I'm big on customer service and clearly they aren't.

I love Blush and have always had good service. My only complaint is that today I went for a pedicure for the first time in a year. There was a big sign on the door that said masks are required. This was very important to me and I made sure before I made my appointment that masks would be required.  When I arrived, all technicians and customers were wearing masks. Before I finished a lady walked in without a mask and no one said a word to her. If the sign says masks are required, they should be required! I
made my decision to go there based on this requirement. I felt they should have made her put a mask on immediately or refused service for her.  I consider this rude and inconsiderate of the patrons in the salon and the technicians.

I retract all previous statements i have made about this establishment, i have had MULTIPLE employees be rude to me and when i try to address issues with the owner, Shanna, she always treats me like im the issue and not her employees. Twice i have had issues with Bao, one time he literally said something about my physical appearance (i had a cold sore), another time my nails just looked terrible, another employee at the dave lyle location left the drill on my finger so long that my finger hurt for hours after my appointment. I have been a loyal customer at this establishment for going on 3 years and im ridiculously disappointed that it has turned out this way.
There was also a possible case of covid 19, and instead of addressing it head on and taking proper measurements to make sure customers were safe she told her employees to keep it "hush hush" and that has been told to me by 2 of her employees, one past employee and one present. I also recently found out they reuse the paraffin wax.
I had a lot of great experiences here, i really did, but at this time the bad outweighs the good.
