Blissful Nails in Roanoke, VA

Extremely unprofessional. Complained about my poorly done nails and was screamed at by the employee and her boss had to physically hold her back from attacking me and my SIL. I went here to get my nails done for my wedding and my experience was HORRIBLE. First my appointment was for 4 and didn't get my nails done until almost 6. She complained the whole time/was on her phone. When I left I noticed my nails were all different shapes and lengths and very lumpy and very poorly done. My brother first called to see if I could get a refund to get them fixed elsewhere. They not only refused but screamed at him on the phone. I went back to show them how bad my nails looked and the employee immediately jumped up from her chair and got in my face and began grabbing my nails screaming there was nothing wrong with them. I explained my two thumbs were not only completely different shapes but one was half an inch longer than the other. She then told me this was MY FAULT. As she continued screaming at me and getting closer to me her boss had to physically hold her back. She tried to grab me and just said she would just take my nails off but no refund would be issued. Except my wedding was the next day and that would leave me out 60 dollars with no nails done. Finally we left with no refund and my nails not fixed because we felt attacked. It was very upsetting and beyond unprofessional. I will never ever go back here again and I advise others to steer clear. Messing up your nails is one thing but attacking someone when they complain is beyond anything I've ever experienced in my life.

Regrettably, I have to blast Blissful again. After receiving a very nice apology from the salon's owner following the first review, I decided recently to try again. I told them I just wanted my acrylics removed, nothing else. I was sat down, told "in just a minute", then during the next 15 minutes was moved to a different seat then completely ignored, though one nail tech kind of flitted around in my direction without doing much! All they really had to do was stick my nails in a bowl of acetone then go about their business for the next 30 minutes. Once again, I left and went elsewhere where I had no problems. P.S. The owner was not there, or this might not have happened. His crew just doesn't seem very efficient.

I've been going here for a little over a year now... Religiously, every two weeks. Tim, who did my nails first, left.... I then found blossom, she left.... Then I had Snow.... Now she left. Every person I get that does a good job leaves. I won't go again after Friday when I got my normal mani for my daughter and myself, and the girl did a terrible job on my gel mani. She didn't cut my cuticles all the way, my nails snagged on my shirt when I got in the car due to lack of correct filing, they cut my daughters nails down when she asked them not too(it took her forever to grow them out), and she put the gel topcoat al over my fingers, so it looks like there is super glue on my nails and skin. Also, the past two colors I've had, have turned colors within a week. 2017 update. Everyone else was closed, so I ran in to get a gel mani before my party. My nails were very long before I went in. The photos I'm uploading show how short she filed them, and how my polish, after 2 days has peeled right off. Also... LOOK WHAT SHE DID TO MY CUTICLES. THEY ARE BLEEDING AND SORE, and she didn't trim them at all. I'm so pissed off.

NEVER AGAIN- so rude and told me to sit down she didn't have time! I was taking a look at my daughters design on her nails who was right beside me. RUDE!
