I am new to Roanoke and I am so happy to have found my salon and stylist! It's always stressful looking for a new place to have my hair done but I was put at ease the moment I walked into Rock/Paper Beauty Lounge. I have very thick long hair and Taylor did an amazing job at giving me exactly what I wanted. She took her time. I did not feel rushed and the pricing is more than reasonable. I decided at the last minute to not chop my hair off. I had my layers redone and my hair textured/thinned out. I am very happy and will continue to see Taylor for my hair needs.

Today I had an amazing experience at this Salon. Taylor was my stylist and not only is she charming and delightful she is a great stylist! I moved here from Chicago and am used to the upscale salons. Taylor spent 3 hrs. with my shoulder length hair. I had fallen and broke my nose and had a concussion and I hadn't had my hair colored since before Thanksgiving. I was in need of major HELP! Taylor explained everything she was doing and made some excellent suggestions. She did some things to start getting my hair healthy again and I love it. I have Back problems and she was very accommodating to assist me . I know I will be back for sure. The best way to describe her is EXCELLENT!

I was need of a hair make-over as my color exposed dark roots with "brassy" blonde from a professional dye job that was several months old. I had been travelling and my hair had been neglected. Charolotte was recommended to me. I asked for a "natural" look that blended my roots with the bulk of my hair. Charolotte did an AMAZING job. She is a very skilled colorist. I have lived all over the US and I really was impressed with her. I highly recommend the salon it is in a beautiful old building downtown with very friendly staff.

My sister, sister-in-law, and I were in town for our youngest brother's wedding. Rock Paper Beauty Salon was PERFECT! They scheduled 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and 7) for wedding-day styles. The ladies that did our hair were fun and professional. My nieces had a blast and we loved the stylings, the price, and the EASE! I would HIGHLY recommend this salon. If I lived in Roanoke, it would be my go-to for sure.

I started coming here after moving last year. My first appt was a color correction which Taylor did an awesome job on. She also has helped me get my hair healthy again with treatments. I did have an issue with highlights not coming out as I wanted it. I called and she redid it at no additional charge. All the ladies seem to be nice and do a great job. One downside is they dont have a receptionist so its hard to get a hold of them to make an appt. You may have to leave several messages before they call you.
