Stopped in today because I had a gift card. The manicurist told me to "settle down" because I commented he wasn't pushing my cuticles down. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Shady work, won't be back. My friend wasn't happy either. He clipped her skin and it started to bleed. He just kept saying it was ok. I paid extra for massage as well. It lasted about 2-3 minutes total. Definitely not worth extra fee for "better" pedicure! The paraffin wax was lovely though.
Manicure today. The nail tech pulled out dirty tools from a box and started to use them on my nails. I immediately made her stop. There were actually skin clippings on the blade of the cuticle nippers. She spritzed a bit of alcohol on them and said, "clean now". I insisted on a sanitized set of tools. She went to get them after rolling her eyes at me. I should have left then and there. I wonder how many clients either don't notice or don't realize the importance of sanitizing equipment. The whole place is dirty, from the floors to the chairs to the individual stations. The Board of Health needs to know about this place. I definitely will never go back and I'll share my experience with others.

I've always gone here for pedicures and they have really gone downhill. They rushed me in and out very quickly with almost no massage time at all. But what was worse was that I asked for the basic pedicure, which is what I have always gotten. In the description it says light callous removal, which is fine. The guy tells me I have callouses so I have to upgrade another 10 dollars for him to do my heels. My heels were the same as anyone's...light callouses. I told him the basic is what I've always gotten. (Side note - the next more expensive pedicure (for 10 more dollars) mentions nothing about callouses, only herbal lotions and such.) So, because I didn't pay an extra 10 dollars, he didn't touch my heels at all! He basically didn't even do what I paid for because he couldn't extort another 10 dollars out of me. Skip this place. You will not be happy with it.
Technically my daughters nails looked good but service was bad. They took my daughter back to get pedi, as I was getting mani. I go back to check in on her and this is how I found her. He obviously thought it was ok to place her in the chair like this:( ummm.. comfortable much?! She's 9 so she is apprehensive to speak up ( obviously needing to work on that) but seriously?!?
