Bei Capelli Salon in New Albany, IN

So never had an issue with the quality of the service they provide but we had an experience where we had a "shady business transaction" with a stylist. I called to speak with an owner, which I found out they have 3 of and I ask to discuss with one of them. I was said they had customers so they would call me back. I had no issue with this option so I left my number and waited. After 3 hours, I called back just to check, and had been told one owner had already left and the other was still busy, totally understandable but after waiting all day and all night, never received a call! I suspect they don't care how customers are treated and only care about the bottom line! Will never return to this establishment since they can't even take the time to discuss shady business gouging!!

Maybe Bei Capelli Salon has closed its business (?). I didn't get a call or text reminder the day before my appt. so I called (3) times to confirm and no one answered the phone so I left a voice message. The next day, the day of my appt., when I still hadn't heard from anyone at the salon I called again (4) different times, but no answer so I left another message. Needless to say, I didn't bother wasting my time and fuel driving to the salon after I couldn't confirm that I was on the schedule. (My first red flag should have been when I called ~2 weeks in advance and the girl on the phone wasn't professional.)

After arriving at bei-Capelli for the first time, there was no one at the desk or anywhere to be seen. I actually had to finally walk to the back to find someone. The new stylist who was recommended by the owner was to follow the formula I brought from another stylist in another state, she agreed to do so but did not. After paying full price and leaving in tears, I had bright orange roots and it was to be a simple and straightforward highlight/lowlight. The stylist kept insisting it was my hairs fault! I've used the same exact formula for years with great success. It was very obviously a lack of knowledge and experience and I was treated very poorly by the salon. I will never go back to a place so filthy inside with such a lack of caring. I now have to find another stylist and pay to fix their mistake. Truly unbelievable how bad the experience was there for something that should've been so simple.

I ABSOLUTELY love Bei Cappelli Salon! I love the atmosphere of the salon, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I drive from Louisville to see Savannah H! She's literally a miracle worker! Not only is she an amazing hair dresser but she's also such a nice and caring person! Savannah has literally saved my hair!

Disclaimer: Nothing she says in her response on here is anything remotely true. I have never even met or talked to this woman. And never once harassed the stylist that did my hair. I only spoke with her over text on 3 separate days and I was as nice as I could possibly be in this situation. Please read other reviews on here about how people have been threatened and or blamed when things go wrong at this salon.

I went to BEI Capelli on October 3rd. I showed her a picture of a dark red ombré with solid color on the bottom. She said "lets do it!" And started to strip pieces of my hair and dyed it red almost like red highlights. I got home and realized so many of the pieces were still a blondish orange color and the color didn't take at all, by the time I could get a new appointment the color was gone completely and my hair looked brassy. For my second appointment a week later, I brought her coffee, not mad or upset, just wanting to get it fixed and explained I really wanted more red the first time around and once again showed her the original picture of what I wanted and that she should probably just strip my hair completely because she did highlights where as I wanted more of a red ombré. And obviously red highlights look terrible with black box dyed hair.

So she comes back with a red color dye already mixed and assures me putting it all over my head, (covering black box dye she hasn't stripped yet) would be the best route to go. My roots took the bright red color leaving me with a red strip going down my part, then the black almost a green and the highlights from the previous visit turned almost purple. At this point I didn't know what to do, I tried to talk to the manager before I left and she was with a client. I called several times to speak with the manager and no one would call me back and even talked to the girl who did my hair personally and she expected me to pay another 100-150 to fix the issue. So I decided to go up there with my boyfriend and just see if I could calmly speak to a manager face to face since no one would return my call. Once again she was with a client so an employee asked us to wait while she finished up. We sat down just talking and sitting on our phones and after a few minutes the police came in the door. And the manager who I had never seen before walked up and said "I would like her removed."

I simply wanted my money back or the issue to be resolved without paying another 150 dollars. I never get my hair done and this was a real treat to myself to do this, I couldn't possibly afford to pay again and I shouldn't have too. Completely in shock that this happened. I can't imagine treating someone this way. All I wanted was a refund or something... that's all I wanted and they took my money and called the police on me. Unbelievable.
