First appointment - they cancelled less than 2 hours before the appointment because they had no hot water. Had a couple of good appointments one that I had to wait for 20 mins because the stylist was late. She was nice so worth the wait but she left. The owner gossips continuously so beware what you say. Stylists can be late but not customers! The 15 minute late policy is stated but when you walk in after fighting Henry County traffic less than 15 minutes late and are turned around at the door and told they've already called their next client AFTER you called to tell them you were going to be late, I guess they don't want your business.

I went to this salon and had such a great time with my stylist. We had things in common, made conversation, and we talked about me coming back for a full blonding. I had my son with me. He is 2.5 years old and has autism. The stylist was amazing giving him his first haircut, and although I was super apologetic that he was antsy while my hair was being cut, she assured me it wasn't necessary, and I felt so good. I called today to make an appointment with her for blonding, and the owner (I believe) picked up. She told me that the stylist was no longer there in a pretty curt way, but I figured I would go back because of the convenience of the location. We set a date, but when she got to taking my name, she raised her voice and told me they didn't have availability for me. I called back, and she said it's because they were worried my hair would melt off and no one wanted to take the appointment. It didn't make any sense to me, so I pressed for a reason, and she said the following: "I was trying to be nice but do you really want to know?! You are blocked. Last time you were here, it was really bad and we won't be servicing you. Now I have to get back to my clients." And hung up on me again. I have been in tears all morning, I really don't know what I could have done, but I am an over thinker-- super self aware and anxious, and this had been one experience where I was assured I didn't have to feel guilty for treating myself, and to have that ripped away in such an aggressive way really hurt me. I have no idea what could have happened, but I do think it was hurtful and absolutely demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. The owner then replied to my google review calling me filthy and saying my son is unsanitary and that he "destroyed her wall." In fact, he was eating a crepe in his stroller, and touched the wall on his way out. I apologized profusely and was reassured it was fine... going to edit to respond to owner comment: the stylist had zero problem. I contacted her about seeing her elsewhere. After my son got his hair cut, he ate his to-go breakfast from the coffee shop next door. (Why would I bring a jar of Nutella?) He touched the wall and I offered to clean it. I was embarrassed and apologetic because I am a mom of a two year old who was trying to get a haircut. The "beach wagon" is a high end wonderfold stroller way out of my price range that I splurged for because having a place where he feels safe helps to keep him from becoming overstimulated. My son was not in a dirty diaper. (What??) No one said anything to me at the time other than reassuring me it was fine. I don't scream at people. I don't believe people should be treated that way. Ma'am I am sorry if you think that bringing your child in for a haircut and apologizing for him being a two year old or bringing in my stroller was disrespectful. I don't think it's okay to mom shame and accuse me of leaving my son dirty or in a dirty diaper. He is a very well loved and cared for sweet two year old boy with autism-- who had just eaten a chocolate crepe. This is beyond unprofessional and unkind, and if anyone should be mortified, it's you. And finally, if you paid $200 for one sq. ft. of paint, you are going to the wrong home improvement store.
