B D Michaels Hair Salon in Sarasota, FL

I am a new to the area and was looking for a salon that employs Organic Colour Systems products for haircolor. After coming across BD Michael's Organic Hair Salon I new I had to schedule an appointment with Erin, the salon owner. If you have not been to a organic designated salon and have processes performed on your hair I highly recommend trying it out. Erin really took the time to listen to what I wanted and executed my vision beautifully. When I had a different idea on an aspect of my hair she worked to accommodate my wishes and make it reality. Not to mention, Erin is the sweetest and a very kindhearted individual. I am very happy with my hair and look forward to future services and haircuts. I love my hair now after disliking it for years, lol. I must mention how clean and sanitary the salon was in these COVID-19 times and I witnessed Erin using sanitizer multiple times during my visits. Thank you, Erin!

I have been having my hair colored and cut by Erin for several years now. When I came to Florida I found a good organic salon with the "real deal" organic products. However the color was good but the haircuts were horrible. I settled for that for years until the shop closed. Then I shopped around and found some that said they could get organic products but it was a hassle and sometimes I suspected the product had chemicals and dye. I have a disease that I cannot have chemical dyes. As soon as I walked in I could tell by the smells and how good the products made my hair look, that I found the right hair salon and the right hairdresser. May hair always looks so healthy when I leave. Erin is so easy to work with and has an infectious laugh.

I have been going to Aaron for 10 years plus. She is fantastic ! I am very picky who cuts my hair. She is one of the best. Hair color is always natural looking. You will find her easy to talk too. SHE IS NOT ONE OF THOSE STUCK UP GALS LIKE U SEE AT FANCY SALONS. Love you Aaron

I cannot fathom why there aren't more reviews for this hidden gem of a salon. I recently moved to the area, happened to walk by and noted that this is a true ORGANIC salon. Erin, the owner, uses organic hair color and products that are certified. Not only is Erin kind and easy to talk to, she really listens to your wants and needs. The only aroma you smell is lovely and natural. She got my color spot on and the cut was just as I envisioned it.

I have been here several times. The hair color is good quality , more natural, without some of the nasty ingredients traditional color systems use. My haircuts have been very nice so far, and the price is very reasonable! Highly recommend!
