A regular manicure typically involves nail shaping, cuticle care, and the application of nail polish, which can last up to a week. A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The blonde "owner" was disgustingly rude and disrespectful when I walked inside with my little sister and I to use the restroom after purchasing multiple orchids outside. When outside, we realized it was a nail bar inside and we're going to get our toes done, but after her horrid attitude, my sister and I walked out. Another customer outside was agreeing as well about the blonde "owner" and her poor attitude towards clients AND potential ones as well. 10/10 would not recommend at all, a customer who walked out said the prices are OUTRAGEOUS for the simplicity of her services. There's plenty places in Sarasota, but this is not the spot! But the pop-up orchid stand outside is very beautiful and the people running it were insanely sweet and even gave me a free orchid because they felt so badly after how the owner treated us.
My mom and I walked by on our way to dinner one night while we were visiting family in Sarasota. We were struck by how pretty the salon seemed, with large open windows and a high end feel. We decided to pop in the next day to see if we could get an appointment. There was only 1 nail tech with 1 client. The nail tech looked at us like we were aliens when we walked in and didn't even greet us. We asked politely if there were any appointments available that day and she just started at us like we were stupid. We got the memo and quickly left. This place is super unwelcoming and I would not recommend coming here. I actually don't understand why anyone would come here and be treated like that...
Came to the farmers market and decided I could relax after and get a pedicure. Yelped a place and took time to walk out here since the app said the salon studio was open. Got here and it was closed, looks like a nice studio but upset that they weren't open
I came to Lourdes in need of a manicure. I had no appointment but there was only one other customer getting a pedicure so they were able to take me as a walk in. The owner, who ended up doing my nails, later commented it is usually very busy and I was lucky they had an opening for me. After the treatment I received for a simple one color polish manicure I am highly doubtful that anyone would make an appointment for such a terrible, rude, and painful service. Here is what went wrong.... - She never asked how I would like my nails to be trimmed, just went ahead and began filing away. - While trimming my cuticles she got a little too over eager and snipped through my skin in multiple places. But not to worry she had her spray disinfectant on hand. This leads me to believe I am not the first or the last customer to bleed more than a little at her table. Of course she said that she did not do it, that my fingers were like that from before!? -The Essie polish that I had selected was quite thick. After applying the first layer she pointed this out. Instead of asking me if I wanted to switch to a newer bottle/color (like most experienced nail technicians would advise) she proceeded to struggle through painting the second coat. This was proving very difficult for her so she decided not to finish the second layer on three of my nails. When I asked her to please paint the final layer on my three nails she gave me an exasperated look, as if I was asking too much of her! -Because the polish she insisted on using was too old and thick I was instructed not to touch anything to let them dry for an unrealistic extended period of time. -Lastly, this what should have been quick manicure took almost an hour (not including time to let my nails dry after) to complete. Overall, this was definitely NOT worth the $25 +tip. I highly advise you go ANY place other than here....
