B B NAILS in Windsor, CO

My friend and I went to BB Nails yesterday for pedicures. She had called to schedule our appointments the day before and ask if her gift certificates were still valid. They said yes. We went in and picked our colors. The color I chose and the color they put on was completely different. That guy who did my pedicure cut my toe . We waited the full time until they said they were dry and we could leave. They were not dry and got completely messed up after we left. As we were checking out the lady told us that our gift certificates were not valid. She said the person that told us that on the phone the day before didn't speak english. I don't understand why you would answer the phone if you don't speak english.

Read the reviews online, saw that they were under new management as of about a year ago, read good things so thought I would give them a try. I made an appt for 1:00 today with Nick as I had seen good reviews about his work.

I show up at 1:05 and only two nail techs working, both in the middle of a full set. I walk in, I tell them I have an appt at 1:00 for Katie for a dip full set, which is what I told them over the phone. I could tell they didn't care about that. The man who I assume is Nick tells me to sit down. I say, can I look at colors. No response. So I look around and find the color books and choose a color. By now it's 1:15. He then tells me to sit at the station again, so I do, and he tells me 'she be right with you'

Another 10 min later a woman comes out of the back (where was she this whole time I'd been waiting??) She asks 'how can I help you' and at this point a bit disgruntled I say 'I called and made an appt with Nick for 1:00 for a dip full set.' She turns around and mumbles to him in Vietnamese but at this point almost 30 min after my scheduled appt time I had no desire to stay there and give them my business. I got up and walked out, telling them 'why bother to take appts if you're not going to honor them??'

I refuse to give my business to a place that does not value my time. My time is just as valuable as theirs. I was looking for a permanent nail home and would've been a major repeat customer for hands and toes. I will never be back. Whatever this 'new management' is, they need to get their act together if they want to stay in business in this economy.

Just found this place, pedicure was great, extra time massaging my feet which was so nice. Clean, quieter and no strong nail smell. Called ahead and they got me right in with 20 min notice. Chairs are new and nice, cleanliness seemed really good as well. I'll be returning.

Today I had a gel manicure from Hannah. She did a great job! Besides my nails looking great and it being a relaxing experience, I appreciate that there was no up-selling. At another salon in Windsor, my nail technician would not take no for an answer when he suggested upgrades. (I got so embarrassed having to repeat myself to get him to do only the services I wanted that I didn't return.)

Thankfully, I have never been hassled to add services at BB Nails. Comparatively, BB Nails is a bit less expensive. Also, when getting a mani/pedi, they often offer a glass of wine or other beverage (complimentary). (The other salon I mentioned sells refreshments.)  

I appreciate the great attention to detail, the care taken to make the experience relaxing, and the efficient service. Hannah didn't rush but finished my nails pretty quickly. I look forward to my next appointment!

BB Nails is GREAT! Nick and Sophia are AWSOME! Been honing to this salon for almost a year. They are very friendly and do a great job! I would definitely recommend them!
