After 7 months, I was in dire need of a cut, color, and a miracle. Pre-covid I lived in Manhattan and weekended in Carmel. I had no desire to return to the city; but was most apprehensive about going local. I used to look forward to going to a hair salon with the same trepidation having dental work: dread. I must admit I could not offer Azi any guidance whatsoever; none was needed. She gave me stunning highlights, color, and a trim. Whereas I normally felt after 2 weeks I should not even leave the house or god forbid let anyone stand behind me lest they stare at my glaring roots. I now go for 5 weeks between appointments no self-consciousness. Azi offered to find me a salon in NYC, if life gets back to normal; but I will only return to Azi and Salon Azfar. My hair looks natural, feels wonderful, and manages easily. THANK YOU, Azi!

This woman is AMAZING! I was ambivalent to try a place out without a recommendation. However, after reading the reviews I decided to call the salon. I could tell over the phone that she was patient and knowledgeable and I booked an appointment. The first time I went I got so many compliments on my hair and I was impressed on how easily she tamed my wild frizzy hair. I just got back from my second appointment and I am ecstatic. She cut my hair and gave me an awesome blowout that looks like a curling iron was used. As talented as she is, is as sweet as she is too. I am happy to say I think I found myself a keeper.
