I never get time or money to spend on myself so today I treated myself. I came across this nail salon and thought I would give it a try. Went in and it wasn't busy at all so I had no wait which was nice. I told them I wanted the dip and color tip. She used acrylic, not dip on my nails. The color they put on my tip was what I wanted but uneven. Didn't cut cuticles or any dead skin away from my nails. No lotion or cuticle oil. As I was driving home I could feel my thumb nails are feeling loose. If I didn't live so far away I would've turned around and went back for them to fix them. $75 was what I spent and it honestly made my jaw drop. I hate to say I won't be going back and now am on to trying to find another nail salon. My suggestion is try if you want but it's not inexpensive and I would consider it a waste.
Stopped in to get a fill and the nail technician recommended a full set as mine were getting loose. It was the same price and he did a great job. Even did a design.
Was there at 9:30 and was told to wash my hands in sit down. Before 10am, 3 other people had shown up to get pedicures. All being helped while my hands sat soaking. Some lady behind me complained that she wanted the lady that was supposed to help me, to do her pedicure. So she got her way and I was left there with my hands soaking. I waited after being told someone would show up in 5 minutes to help me. I waited for a total of 45 minutes and decided I was leaving! Very unprofessional to have me sitting there for 45 minutes even though I was the first one there! I have been here plenty of times but it had been a year since I'd been back, moral of the story I will never be back! It's always the same issue but I just had enough today!
The lady literally burned my foot with a hot towel during my pedicure. she threw the boiling hot towel on my feet and then walked away. I immediately kicked it off and told her that she burned me. she didn't apologize or even acknowledged the fact that she literally hurt me. I do not recommend this place.
I went here with my friend today and I needed some of my nails shorter for my job (I have to grip bars a lot and long nails get in the way and hurt my hand) but I still wanted most nails longer for the aesthetic. My friend speaks Vietnamese and told me that the girl doing her nails told the girl doing mine that I wanted my nails shorter because we are gay and proceeded to call my friend's hands "manly" twice. I found this very unprofessional and just made me very anxious for the duration of the service because I did not know what else they were saying about us or the other people being serviced. We were going to get pedicures as well but ended up paying for our manicures and leaving because they were quite busy and taking a while, but also because the girl doing my friend's nails continued to talk about her being "manly". I paid $95 total for both of our manicures and for the first time ever, did not tip because of how upset I was about how they were talking about us. I also had nail art done on my nails and it was very rushed and not worth the $95 but I'm not sure if it was rushed because they were busy or because of the assumption made about us being gay. I know that I will not be returning to this salon and will keep my business elsewhere.
