The best hair salon I've ever been to!
As soon as I walked in I was warmly welcomed. Instantly helped and everything was done in a timely manner and very fairly priced!
I definitely will be going back and also recommending this salon to everyone I know!

So I had gotten balayage done to my hair a couple days prior, it cost an arm and a leg, and my hair was orange and splotchy. I was visiting my boyfriend for the weekend and I had to get it fixed, it was that bad. Vicki was amazing; she completely transformed my hair, she was fast, efficient and even helped with the price. I had previously paid $200 for something I didn't like and Vicki and Mr. Evans (Jerry) were nice enough to make it more affordable for me because I had had such a bad experience. Ashley was also a godsend; she stepped in and helped with the process. Thank you to Mr. Evans, Ashley, and especially Vicki for fixing my train wreck hair. Y'all were amazing, affordable, and so incredibly helpful. Also I live in Texas, but I will 100% drive up to have my hair done by them again :)

DO NOT GO HERE!!!  My teenage daughter went in here for an ombre, and came out with grayish silverish hair.  She wanted blonde. The "stylist" said she overtoned it, but that it was better to overtone than to undertone,  and that it would wash out in a couple of days/ washes.  It has been 4 washes,  and it's still gray! Now its falling out in big clumps/strands.
We went in for a consultation,  and they made an appointment for the next day. When we're got there,  the lady that made the appointment had a different lady do it.  Apparently,  she didn't tell the lady that did my daughter's hair that we were even coming.
Then, while in the chairs, the people getting their hair done were just left in the chair while the ENTIRE staff went to get a picture taken with a celebrity. Then our "stylist" kept texting and calling her mom WHILE bleaching my daughter's hair.

This is AWFUL! DEFINITELY DO NOT GO HERE!  My family gets all of their hair cut here,  but won't anymore!

LaDonna cut my hair and she was very friendly but did not listen to my request at all. I went in with my hair wavy/curly as it is naturally and stated I wanted about an inch off. I specifically said I wanted to start with my hair longer and see if I wanted to shorter after the inch was gone. Its easy to go shorter but after its cut off its gone... Needless to say she cut off 3-4 inches and when I went home to straighten my hair that night it was completely uneven. So not only did I get a much shorter haircut than I had planned but its completely uneven 1 place in the front and 2 in the back.

I've been here a few times. I think I've had a different lady cut my hair every time. Out of the 4 ladies I can think of only one of them that did a good job. I really don't have a difficult haircut either. Anyways, the ladies in there are always talking to each other across the room and don't even pay attention to how they cut your hair. Today was the worst experience so far. She faded up the sides and then said "so what do you think?" (expecting me to say good, and get out of the chair.) She "forgot" within 3 minutes that I said to trim up the top apparently. She proceeded to spend 1 min "trimming" the top without spraying it at all and between each cut of the scissors she paused to talk about Denzel Washington.... This place is just awful. The ladies are always talking quietly to me about one of the other ladies in the room. So unprofessional... and I don't care in the slightest about their workplace gossip. Don't go here. Seriously. I really didn't want to tip her today but she stared down at my credit card receipt to see what I was going to tip her and so I gave her a dollar because It was just an uncomfortable situation.

I've been to the mane man on Porter and it is wayyy better. The lady who cut my hair was very professional and methodical about trimming my hair on top and it was the best haircut I've had with this hairstyle.

Only reason I went to the one on Lindsey was for convenience. I won't make that mistake again.
