Art Nails & Spa in Monroe, LA

The male working was very pushy when we were picking out our polish and it's not like they were in a hurry there were only 2 other people in the salon. The entire establishment was filthy and unsanitary. Hair stuck to the inside of the pedi cup holder. They used tools on my feet and then put them wet in a nasty bag and zipped it up. Old nail polish was still left on my toes when she was ready to put my new polish on. The floors were dirty and looked like nothing had ever been cleaned.

This is the best nail salon in Monroe for acrylics! It is not swanky at all, but I'd rather beautiful nails then atmosphere. The male tech does a phenomenal job at great prices.  There can be a wait on weekends but I happily wait bc I find him to be consistently great. I'm so glad I ignored other reviews and gave this place a shot.

Worse pedicure I have ever gotten. Got my eyebrows waxed as well. I walked in at 3:07 and was finished by 3:30. Horrible attitude and terrible service. A 3 year old could have done better

I left a review on the fb page  too... literally spent 120$in that place yesterday... the young guy and his shitty attitude is the worst and one of my nails already broke .. he wanted to charge me an extra 10$ for cut down .. then I told him he didn't cut enough and he said it would be extra to cut down more. Had an attitude the whole time. Then this dude finished my nails and went and sat down.. across from me as I wait for my nails to be painted.... to which he picks his nose . Disgusting is an understatement

Waiting for my sister at doctor's apptmt. Needed a Gel French Manicure on my natural nails. Asked tech standard questions about sterile equipment, cost and time to completion. Gel nails dry quickly. The staff pretended(?)to speak very little english, but I was seated and nail work started. Nail Tech pushed my nails into hot solution that smelled like acetone. I mentioned the solution was a little too warm..No reaction, so I pulled my fingertips back to let solution cool a bit. She buffed the old polish off, trimmed my cuticles, had me wash my hands, and never cleaned dust from buff off her station. They know their jobs, I think to myself. I asked for square nails. She filed and applied polish. Hand goes into half moon shaped device with warming element for 60secs. Same method three more times w/ polish applied and into element to dry. She says, "you are finished". I had small bubbles in the white polish on my nail tips and specks of nail residue on three of my clear nail portions. Tried to capture pic on my iPhone but resolution would not allow the waves, bubbles and specks to be visualized. Worse nail job I've ever had in any salon, anywhere. She asked that I wait until another tech w/ two customers could re-do job. I told her, I would pay for 1/2 of the service and then leave. Don't go to this place! No English, poor skills and professional fees for a beauty school job..No Thank You!
