I came to Kool Nails for a pedicure and dip nails. The pedicure was adequate although one toenail chipped after one week.
It took the tech over an hour to do my dip nails, and she nicked my cuticles more than once. My fingernails started to chip and peel after 5 days. The staff was congenial, but lacked in skill. I will not go there again.
Today me and my daughter went in to get our nails filled in. They were very nice at first until my daughter ask for nails to be a little shorter. I could instantly tell he was getting aggravated with her. He started huffing and just staring at her in an ugly way. Then she explained nicely that the thumb nail looked a little crooked and he tried to turn her arms and we explained she was not able. My daughter is wheelchair bound and her hands do not turn palm up. He just kept getting more agitated. All I could get from it is he couldn't fix it because she could turn her arms. He then approached me raising his voice my daughter was almost in tears. She has had her nails done hundreds of times by different mail techs never had a problem. I finally made the decision to take her and leave. It was embarrassing for her because there were people in there and She is already a spectacle because of the wheelchair. We left with unfinished nails and toes. California Nails in the mall we're super helpful and fixed everything with no problem! I would not recommend this place to anyone. The new management as their website says must not be working well for them.
This was my first time going here. I called ahead for an appointment and they were very accommodating. I showed up and only had to wait for about 2-3 minutes. They offered me a beverage, but I declined as I had brought my own drink. The lady who did my nails was very gentle and listened to my wants! She got them perfect! I haven't had my nails done this well in a very long time! I forgot to get the lady's name who did my nails, but I will definitely be going back for a refill and I want to try out a pedicure next time too! Thank you Kool Nails!
They use MMA! I was soaking off my cousin's nails and it was shiny and sticky and it took forever to come off! I don't even know if i got it all off. I'm no expert but I definitely know the difference between EMA and MMA! So just be careful guys!
I have been to this salon several times without incident. I went yesterday and got a full set done with white tips. I noticed that the woman didn't use hardly any acrylic on them. I thought maybe the powder had changed. Today I find out different. I havent done anything but wash and fold clothes. Somehow I have managed to break TWO of my nails. I cant remember the last time I broke a nail. This is pitiful and a waste of money. After being told a 30 minute wait and I was there 2 hours total, they don't deserve any stars for yesterday.
