Signature Nails and Beauty in Monroe, LA

On my recent visit which will be my last visit I went with my sister and my mom. They both got pedicures while I got a mani and a pedi. My pedicure was good not to say it wasn't but when I was getting my nails done one of the techs were just obnoxiously loud. As the lady was putting the color on my nails I noticed that one of my nails were crooked. And I asked if she could fix it. Well the tech that was being loud "tried." To fix it by filing it down but it wasn't helping and I said the only way to fix it was to take it off and redo it and he told me "we have a hard job to worry about taking one nail off." I'm sorry sir but we pay for y'all to do nails and if it wasn't for us you would have no job so I suggest you please your customers instead of pissing them off before you have none.

I was told my nail bed was "too dark" for what I asked for but every time I get my nails done I always get French tip and never had that problem. The shape of the nails were horrible. And the person who did my nails Kept trying to convince me to keep the nails and said there was nothing wrong with them. And when I said I didn't want the nails she proceeded to talk sh*t about me but in her native language

I have been to this salon 4 times now. When my daughter and I got there they soaked my dip off..over an hour. My daughter was done with a full set and dip b4 they started mine. The young lady came up to me and tried convincing me I needed a set of acrylics. No I have long natural nails.after saying no 3xs she got an attitude.. I picked 2 different dips she said they were out of both without looking at other stations.so I picked another color. She then got on her phone and went outside for another 3-5mins. She kept stopping to reply on her phone.She didn't converse with me at all flew through it in 15mins. On the way out I told the race that the tech was rude and my nails were trash. He replied yeah we have had alot of complaints about her attitude. The next day I looked at my nails closely and on 2 my natural nail wasn't connected to the dip.and the top coat started to bubble and peel... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE..RUDE CRAPPY SNOTTY TECHS

I began to visit this shop because I appreciated the Covid procedures once they reopened. Shop is very nice & clean. However, recently they have started to require a soak off and new set if you got your nails done elsewhere. This was the last straw for me. Their work is beautiful and trendy, but ridiculously overpriced without explanation. I never minded paying the cost, but I have recently noticed a change in their clientele. There are no price listings and I believe that they assign random pricing depending on who you are. Pricing is ridiculously price but worse, inconsistent from visit to visit. In recent months, I have watched this business get rich off the African American community. And to take additional steps to gouge our pockets even more is unethical. I feel that this shop should be careful before someone calls the Better Business Bureau on them. We will see what happens to this shop once the government monies are done stimulating the economy. At that point they will be humbled and will miss the customers who were willing to pay their prices for good and ethical service. We will be long gone.

This was the worst pedicure I have ever had. The nail tech Davis literally did my $40 deluxe pedicure in UNDER 15 minutes. He ran through it so fast not actually scrubbing my heels or massaging as the menu suggested. He also didn't put any of the Callous removal or cream or my feet. He put everything on the tools so by the time he threw it on my feet to start scrubbing the products had slipped off. Same thing with the cooling gel and massage lotion. He threw everything on and ran through it as if I was interrupting his personal time by paying for a pedicure. The owner didn't seem to care much when I mentioned it and as I paid NUMEROUS clients started voicing the same complaint and that NO ONE wants him to touch their feet again. This business will never get another dime out of me. I can deal with mediocre service sometimes but they don't seem to care to improve it.
