Angel Nail in Enterprise, AL

I highly recommend this nail salon!  I took my daughter in to get an pedicure for her birthday and they were so amazing/patient with her. She enjoyed it so much that she asked to go back again! The nail salon had  little wait, and very clean inside. I got an pedicure as well it was amazing! I got the special with the hot rocks, and it was so relaxing. We will definitely be going back

I've only been here a few times and can say the pedicures are good but the acrylic manicures are not. I always get acrylic nails and every-time I've gotten them done I always have to point out things for them to constantly fix throughout the process. I got square nails and noticed half of them were rounded out and the other half were square so I said screw it just round them all out. They looked awful. The white nail tip application was crooked and the acrylic application on top was thick and bumpy. They left dried acrylic application stuck under my nails and even glued the nails to my skin. I went home and spent 20 min reshaping my acrylic nails because they were all uneven. I don't really think I'll be back to get manicures anymore.

I decided to cheat on my normal nail tech and try out this place. I made an appointment to get my older set taken off and a new full set put on. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment and I was told to wash my hands so I did and then I browsed for polish shades. I was seated and began to soak my nails off before i got the chance to find the polish I wanted, fair I should've just came 20 minutes early. I told the nail tech my vision and she couldn't direct me towards any pastel glitters so I decided to just get a natural pink with an accent nail. My appointment was fine up until that point and my nails are gorgeous, the appointment itself was anything but glamorous though.

Right off the bat I was seated and got my old
Nails soaked off no problem and then my tech got working on shaping my new nails and we ran into the first problem. I wanted something in-between a stiletto and almond. Instead of just saying yes she felt the need to correct me and tell me that they were stiletto. I didn't want sharp pointy ends like all the other stilettos I have seen. I wanted nails just like the photo. This was the only time she spoke to me like I was a customer.

She started off unsure of what product to use and kept insisting I use pink and do a mauve pink toned gel. No part of me wanted that. She decided on her own to put bright pink acrylic on all of my nails and I explained to her I don't want pink I would like the clear. She seemed to be very mad at this and this is when my appointment just got worse. She tried to tell me she couldn't use clear acrylic on the whole nail nor could she ombré the nails from pink (nail bed) to clear (tips), even though I had just seen her do it on the accent nails. They put a natural tinted gel on top of the two nails with pink acrylic and I said I didn't like them, because I didn't want pink. My nail tech started talking loudly in another language and it was almost as if she was huffing and puffing like a younger child that didn't get their way. An older lady heard and came nearby to ask what the problem was and calm her down some. These nail techs spoke in another language but it was obvious the tone was aggressive and pretty soon almost every nail tech in the main area began to yell across the room over at the nail tech who was working on my nails, just for her to yell back. Not only was this chaotic but then the older lady who came to ask what the problem was, told me that "we [the nail salon] would not be able to do that [apply clear instead of bright pink acrylic so I can have a more natural nail] and that once she redos the nails with clear acrylic if you [I] didn't like it then you [I] would have to go to a different store." She also felt the need to say that no other store would do this either. Don't worry, I won't be coming back.

My nail tech needless to say applied my clear acrylic but her application seemed rushed and sloppy. She never pushed back my cuticles and later on during the drilling she would have to drill around them and push back and file off the acrylic on the side of my nail bed. She didn't do bad at reshaping.

Unfortunately the whole time she was reshaping I noticed so many details that made me sick to my stomach. I know a lot of nail salons aren't known for cleanliness but this whole shop was throwing me off. I watched my nail tech file my 3 month old nails with the drill and of course the shavings get everywhere but I saw her just shake off the towel right onto the floor. I wonder how many other peoples nail shavings end up on the floor. Next to me the counter you set your hands on was covered in nail shavings from a lady who left at the beginning of my appointment and for the whole two hours I spent there no one cleaned them up. In a small glass cup my tech kept her file attachments in some liquid. Liquid that the nail shavings were flying right into.

In general the environment here was just not right. Not only was I treated with disrespect but who wants to spend 2 hours in a nail salon with nail techs arguing and huffing at every word you say to them. I love getting my nails done and I have so much appreciation for nail techs but I couldn't even bring myself to tip mine. Not a single word was spoken directly to me other than her telling me I was wrong and trying to convince me to do something that I did not want.

This place is nice and gives 10% discount to military and/or students, but with how horrible their customer service is and how high their pricing is you might be better off going elsewhere.

My nails look great even after a stressful appointment thank you Angel nails.

Drove an hour to see them today and was very impressed with how thorough they were with my pedicure and doing exactly what I asked them to do. Dip powder is great!

When I first walked in I was not very impressed, it definitely needs to be updated a bit. But, it works.. there was not many colors to choose from. I'm used to having more than 30 color options.

HOWEVER, I didn't have any corrections to say about my acrylic/gel nails. They were great and I've never not had (in my head) comments. The pedicure took so long. Some people wouldn't mind but a 40min pedicure took an hour and 15 min. I asked for the basic and mentioned it twice "this is the basic?" Because she kept doing different creams, scrubs, hot rocks. She stated yes but there was obviously communication problems because when I got to the front they tried to charge me for a deluxe.

Overall- I WOULD go back but I won't because of the lack of varies of colors to choose from (gel).
