I took myself there on recommendation, and they've done a great job with my hair. Put some highlights in last November, and have trimmed it regularly since. My hair is either really wavy or slightly curly depending on the day, and the layered cut works well.
I've been coming to Zuri for years and am always happy with the results. My stylist, Melodie, always listens and makes great suggestions when I need them. She's an expert with color! Everyone at Zuri is very friendly and they make sure to make you comfortable. It's all overall great atmosphere.
Nice salon friendly staff. They could upgrade the waxing area to get a 5 star. Great suggestion for hair products when I pushed for a recommendation. They did not try to up sell the product which was nice. Nicole does a great cut and color. Easy to make an appointment too!
I really like this place, after moving here was referred to Zuri by a friend and have been going to them since. I love my hair cuts and the girls are really friendly and helpful.
OMG, what a horrific haircut! Asked for long layers in my long hair, a touch-up to what I had, and got 5-7 inches off in some places, with a "top" layer cut short and blunt. I think this haircut possibly works for curly hair (which maybe can hide it) but not straight, and when I was charged $25, I said to myself, overpriced, despite spending $60 on my normal cut from my regular guy, and happy about that. I can't believe I have to grow this out, or that this person didn't even pay any attention to the hair as it was, or what I asked for. The stylist asked, when I sat down, "what do you want off, about an inch?" Yes, in fact I did.
I should have been tipped off when I went in and recognized a woman who cut my hair, badly, about 15 years ago.
What a waste of time and $$. Never, again, ever. Be forewarned.
My update is that I went to my regular hairdresser, and he and other stylists were amazed at how uneven and bad this cut was. Like two bad cuts in one! Don't be fooled by the nice sign, and trendy location. This was bad, bad, bad, bad. Don't pay for something your 10 year old can do better.
