Great place to ruin your hair it's only hair it will take years to grow and be healthy again.

Leah is amazing! She stays up on the latest techniques and knows how to work with my extremely thick, coarse, curly hair.

I work in the school district in Clifton Park and believe in supporting the local businesses that support me. I have been going to Zen Hair Studio for many years. The hair stylists are excellent and strive to please their customers. After reading the negative comment that was made by a disgruntled customer a few years ago, I feel I must speak in defense of Zen. The people at Zen are all professionals who, at times, may have more personal conversation with their customers. I always thought of it as an opportunity to get to know them on a more personal level but some people might see that as unnecessary. People who make negative criticisms (like the one posted in 2017) may have difficulty getting along with other people. Perhaps the best thing for her to do would have been to confront the owner one-on-one before making comments like this. I like going to Zen. Their current location is very nice and much easier to enter and exit the parking lot. The hair stylists know what they are doing and are super nice people. I appreciate the way they share their knowledge and expertise with each. I am always happy with the services they provide and will continue to go because they are such nice people to do business with.

Have been going to this salon for quite sometime- and am never unhappy. Always offered something to drink from the friendly staff, and the atmosphere is beautiful- always changing with season/holiday- all of this says, they care. Yes, there are some bold colors that come out of this salon, and I am not a fan personally for me- however, the color that I do receive is always right on the money- never had damaged hair. They always ask what I am looking for, and give me the pros and cons for my hair type, and I come out super satisfied. The reviews I've read on here are disheartening- and I'm sure things are taken out of context. This salon is professional, and has a friendly atmosphere- and a great convenient location.

The new Zen location is amazing!!! Feels like I am in some high-end spa. The stylist really listened to what I wanted. I overheard her with another client explaining he process. They really take time with clients before processing. There was no waiting for my appointment and they have a HUGE assortment of product! #greatsalon
