Will Nails in Clifton Park, NY

Not recommended. They accepted me as a walk-in and then left me to do other guests. They said basically that I should've made an appointment. I say they could've said they were to busy and I would've went elsewhere. The young man who wasn't even waiting on me was extremely rude about the situation. I do not recommend coming here. You are better off going somewhere else that has the staff and time to give you the service your paying for.

I've been here twice now, the first time I got a gel pedicure & it came out excellent (I also paid the additional $55 for the lavender treatment because I didn't know it was optional) and my toes looked amazing! I came back more recently, 4 days ago, and I got another gel pedicure (opted out for the extra treatment) and was still pleased. The nail color I chose in the book was a reddish pink, but the actual polish color was more of an orange. No big deal - still looked good! I opted for a gel manicure as well, as I had a wedding to go to 2 days later. I asked for French & it looked nice that night. It started to peel off at the base of 5 of my nails though the next day. I don't know what happened, but gel manicures are supposed to last much longer than regular manicures & $27 (plus $5 for the French & clear polish) is a lot to pay for something that looked good for only a few hours that night, so not even a full day. I wonder if just a regular single color would have made it more durable? There are signs all over that if you pay cash, you'll get coupons to use toward your future service(s), but charge a few for using a credit card. I don't usually carry cash so I had none on me so i paid the fee. One thing that made me feel slightly uncomfortable was having to tell them up front how much tip to put on the card. Didn't appreciate being put on the spot like that - would have preferred to write it on myself but that was not an option. I tipped over 25% which I usually do & thought was fair but was not thanked. Would go back for a gel pedicure but not a manicure.

Rushed me to the point where I wanted to leave. My cuticles were sloppy and nails were still catchy on fabric.They always seem to be in a rush to get done. In past years I was happy now I will find somewhere else. I waited awhile even with an appointment. Can't talk to anyone except the guy in the front cause they don't speak a bit of English and he disappears also. I leave upset instead of feeling good about the experience. Also for some reason the staff disappears into the back room, nowhere to be found, guess they just don't want to work and even a generous tip doesn't matter. You'd think they would remember a good tip, but no! Last time I just left cause I expect to be treated well and wasn't .Also this charge for credit at 2.5% is illegal. Cash only is not good business. People like to keep track of spending. I get hiding money but this is to much. They don't want to pay the credit card company so they say up front- you pay it! So I had bad service, no one to talk to and a really rushed bad experience more then once- I don't ordinarily post but I've had enough.

Do not go to Jimmy. He was very sarcastic the entire time. He kept laughing at myself and other customers. My nails turned out good but I'd rather go to a different salon because his attitude ruined the entire experience for me. He was bending my fingers in ways they wouldn't bend and would get mad if they didn't go the way he wanted them. He cursed when he messed up on my thumb. VERY unprofessional. BUT on the other hand Tony was VERY accommodating and he fixed every detail to my perfection.

If i could rate below 1 star I would . This place is absolutely terrible. From customer service to their pricing. They lie to you about what you will be charged until the end. The employees are very rude, and the owner continuously tries to play it off. I went in and told the owner exactly what i wanted & repeatedly said gel polish, new set, gel polish. She even showed me the gel polish colors & told me several times it will be $45 all together. Once my set was finished (which by the way is also ugly) I went to go pay and out of nowhere she told me it is $61, and I asked where did the $61 come from. She then broke it down for me and told me $30 new set, $5 for tips, $5 for length (mind you my nails are not long at all), $15 extra for gel polish, and then there is a $1 fee for using their equipment. I don't mind paying just $1 but how else are you going to do nails if you arent using your equipment?? No other nail salon charges to use their equipment to do nails. Basically I walked off with a $61 ugly set that I could have gotten at New Bliss Nails for $45 and it would have came out beautifully.
