I'm not use to leaving reviews unless it's really good service or really bad service (like extremes).

Unfortunately this was a TERRIBLE service.

This was my second time here, I have a 1 1/2 year old boy who in 3 times of sitting and getting hair cut has NEVER cried or moved enough to cause any trouble to the hairstylist he's very well behaved.

The first time we were there I asked for regular ONLY scissors and absolutely NO machine cut keeping more of a baby face and not so much toddler cut. She did as I asked only at the end she "lined up" or "cleaned up" edges with the machine. That I did NOT ask for.

I observed her but did not saying anything. Next cut we went in, she remembered us and sat us down. I asked for the same thing with again ONLY scissors and NO machine. She proceeded to literally get the machine out and started cutting my baby's hair, I obviously said something respectfully and she just replied "it's okay I've been doing this for years, this is only a #7 it's the same thing as if I'm doing it with scissors it's just faster" she saw my face of worry and stopped cutting him with the machine and proceeded with scissors. By this time his hair was extremely uneven, she continued literally CHOPPING not cutting his hair. the whole visit was very very rushed just like the first one. Making us feel like she was just trying to get us out of there instead of actually worrying about doing a good job.

My sons hair is SO SO UNEVEN his dad was very upset and friends started noticing the awful haircut and told us we should've NEVER paid for this kind of job. It was horrible. Do not recommend. Save your money. Go else where. We pay for ATTENTION, please listen to your clients when they speak. We pay for a service, we get to decide what our sons hair should look like not you.

Today was a very interesting day at Pigtails and Crewcuts! We have been avid customers since my children,  4/7/9, have been getting haircuts. We go every month for cuts with Ronnie. Today, a mom with her two children, entered the salon for an appointment. Their appt was before ours and they arrived 10 min late. She was respectfully told that they would be unable to accommodate her sons haircut because they were past the 5 min grace period and that they were fully booked for the rest of the afternoon. This woman, lost it! She was so verbally abusive  to the receptionist and when Stacy and Ronnie intervened, to them as well! She was awful! The way she spoke to them was mind blowing and SO disrespectfully especially in front of her own children. I couldn't believe what was happening! In her own words she said "We are not leaving until my son gets his haircut!!!!" Ronnie, Stacy and the receptionist were SUPERB! This woman was so mean and they never lost their cool, fired back, rolled their eyes...NOTHING!!!!! They were incredible!!!!!! Bravo ladies and crewcuts should be so proud to have them as employees! I was mortified! Any grown woman acting this way in public is unacceptable and NO ONE deserves to be spoken to in this way!

Our children always enjoyed their visits with Stacy until the one time we were five minutes late because of weather. The appointment was right after pickup from daycare on the opposite side of town. Arrived to be told we wouldn't be seen, even after years of seeing Stacy. It shows she really doesn't care about families or kids. Haven't been back since.

Walked into this location eight minutes late for an appointment to get my daughter a haircut before she started kindergarten.  There was no one in there. Not a soul.  We were told there was a grace period of only five minutes and they would not be able to see us.  The ladies at the front desk were cold to say the least.  I certainly understand timeliness but also believe in a little flexibility - especially when it comes to kids. Definitely not a community feel or a place I would recommend sending your business.
