okay so i read reviews ab places in new areas and i was very hopeful for this salon. i was the only person in the salon, no biggie but got me to thinking. i go in for your basic dip powder session. the dremel tool was wayyyyy too coarse and hurt then she starts filing away. im no nail tech but i do watch the process. this lady didn't dip my nail in the base coat white powder before the 2-3 layers of color powder. the final look was nice. maybe a little too squared but over all fair. hence the 2 stars. BUT here i am not even a week later, with chipped nails. $40 poorer. just go spend the extra money.
Had my first pedicure from Viva Nail and it was WONDERFUL! Anna did a fabulous job cleaning up my feet and using the microplaner on my heels and soles so that they'd be smooth. I paid extra for more massage time and it was wonderful. She was very thorough and painted my toes well too. They then let me sit in the massage chair and read my book at least another 30 minutes. Definitely recommend! My usual place's service had declined so this is my new one!
I have been to lots of places in college station and this while not the fanciest is the best . I went there because my husband was getting his hair cut next door . I will for sure go back . I was trekking to the woodlands to get my nails done that's how bad my Cstat experiences had been . So happy to have found a place close to home .
The woman that did my nails cut me and tore my nail. She only apologized only after I told her I no longer wanted tips or dip because I didn't want to put that on a nail that was broken more than halfway through the length of my nail. My finger was throbbing the next day so I'm pretty sure it's infected. Do not go here. I paid $17 for a crappy manicure and an infection.
walked in for a mani peti with chellac polish and was super impressed with the staff and prices! did a better job for 50$ than my normal place does for 80$. the manicure and pedicure were both very standard im not sure if they have premium options for a more luxurious experience. definitely will be back!
