I really wanted to like this place because they do nice work, and the owner and staff are friendly with good pricing. On my third appointment, I had to get my nails cut short, and the stylist snipped me with the clippers and filed open the wound. This would have been forgivable (she was young), but in addition to that pain (and the annoyance that came with having to wear a band-aid and finger condom when I was hoping to have pretty nails), I'm now dealing with a fungus that appeared a few days after my appointment. It showed up on my fingers and toes, presumably because they are too cheap to switch out a 10 cent file between customers. So stupid.
This was my first time to Bliss and it won't be the last for sure. Since moving to this area, I have tried several nail salons and none matched up to the one I left behind. Until today! Lovely experience, the salon was quiet and all the employees seemed very nice. Jocelyn did my pedicure and I thought she did a really great job and by the way, she has beautiful hands herself! Thank you Bliss - I'll be back!
Kinda disappointed. I've been looking for a good nail salon since moving here and I thought this might be it, but nope. I liked it was appointment only. It was not crowded. Very nice inside, despite outside appearance. I wasn't super happy to hear they charge to remove your dip nails, but I was ok with it. However, it took an hour and a half to remove and re-dip my nails. Which was ridiculous.... And now 4 days later... 4 of my nails have chipped and broken
Got a full set of nails. Had a younger girl who paid close attention to detail!! The best thing was she pushed back and trimmed my cuticles which I have never had done without asking. I only get a full set a couple of times a year mostly when we travel and this place was very clean quiet and relaxing!! Will be back for a pedicure very soon.
I have been trying to find a nail salon for the last 4 years. Every single one I've been to in college station has been overpriced and crappy to say the least, but not Bliss. The techs do fantastic work for a reasonable price. I pay a little bit more here than normal (5-10 max) but it is well worth the quality, customer service, and end result. I will never go anywhere else.
