I was nervous to go to this salon because of the most recent reviews, but I'm glad I did! Leroy was professional and attentive. He did his best to make my vision come to life. He was a perfectionist which is a great quality for a nail tech to have. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because my cuticles were a-little cut up during the buffing process. I'd absolutely be back again!
I come to this place often as it's close by and they usually do a decent job. Depending on what nail tech you get you'll get a different outcome and attitude. I've typically tried to ignore the attitudes and roughness of the techs but my experience today was too much. The guy servicing me kept trying to lift my nails after I had signed in and waited for a soak off. He was seemingly irritated that he couldn't take the fast way out and comprise the health of my nails by popping my acrylic off with a tool. I reminded him 3x that I was there for a soak off and he sat back rolled his eyes and threw his tools down. I sensed it was a problem for him and took my things and left. You'll get a decent mani/pedi but it's not worth the disrespect you may experience. Save your money and time for someplace that values it.
This was my favorite nail salon until Nina left. She was amazing. The last man that did my nails was rough and inexperienced. Time to find somewhere new.
Super liked my nails. I don't remember the name of the girl, but she recommend the color I'm wearing and super loved it. This is a first to me in a nail salon. Will be back for sure. Great service ;)
First visit and it is the last. I received a $40 gift cert and a word that this shop was alright: "better than the other one in the neighborhood". I used the cert and paid an additional $36 and got a mani pedi with shellac overlay. The very next day, one nail had come completely off. By the weeks end, I had 5 nails that needed to be re-done. Oh, they also charge a $1 fee if you use a card to pay for the service(s). I called back and spoke to a man who gave the name of "Lee". Mr. Lee said return and we will do over. I was but I changed my mind. Why? Because my time is valuable. Secondly, the do over should include some form of financial reimbursement. Third, VIP had one chance to show me my time and money is worth something to them. I expected better and paid top dollar for that expectation. Patrons beware, spend your $$$ somewhere else! 'Asians never want to refund or give back anything to their black patrons, they only take. I will find a nail shop that values my business, my time and my money"
