Vintage Hair Salon LLC in Charlotte, NC

Reached out to the owner online with questions. I received prompt response and direct contact info for one of her hairstylists specializing in the style I wanted for my daughter.
Good experience. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. There was confusion with my booking (on my part) HOWEVER, Coco was so professional and gracious. Even though she was not at the salon because I hadn't paid my deposit to confirm, she was willing to come in and do my daughters hair.
She got knotless box braids and my daughter liked it.
Very clean inside. Staff wear masks and clients do too.
They keep the door locked. Nice atmosphere. There was only one another stylist and her client while we were there.
Coco's prices are very reasonable.  All around great experience. If you like going to drama free professional salons, this is it!
I have to give a shout out to the person who was there when we got there initially. Also very pleasant and professional.

I was in town visiting and needed a relaxer something serious! Found this was a salon that had next day availability and hair photos looked good.
Upon arrival to the salon, I was a bit unsure of safety given there were bars on the windows but as I walked in the salon it looked clean and organized and the way I was greeted was great so I stayed.
Clients had to sanitize my hands upon entry, which was great expectation. And, they had social distancing marks along the floor for the sinks, the dryers, and the bathroom hall.
There were only 3 clients in the salon and no one was in the same area at the same time.
I thought it was cool that the stylist required her own special pink masks for the service, which sticks to your face doesn't go behind the ears!
The stylist Trophy was very nice and accommodating. She based my scalp better than ever, washed very well no water anywhere, not rough. They offered water/wine. The experience was excellent and I love how the sinks were situated. They were very nice sinks as well.
The reason why they're not getting 5 stars: I do hair and understand technique. I have a relaxed pixie cut and asked for a sleek, feather. She put a stiff foam wrap on my hair (not good), sat me under the hair dryer w/FOUR wrap strips for 30mins (not good not sure of the purpose and impossible to dry that soon), BLOW-DRYED my hair the rest of the way (no good for relaxed pixie, do that for natural silk presses), then bumped my ends like an old school stylist (no good, not a feather). My hair was fluffy with body, not flat, felt stiff, and she did not know how to feather - I showed her a photo and the way she attempted the feather made me want to show her how to do.
To end on a positive note because I'm sure she can do other hairstyles just not relaxed pixies, it's rare to find a stylist who caters to healthy hair - she trimmed my ends to ensure better flat iron, she lined me up as well. You'd be surprised that some stylists charge for each of those which is ridiculous. Her services were very affordable as well. Finally, I learned while sitting in her chair that she sells her own natural hair product line so perhaps she does natural hair very well!

This salon is the best I've visited. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to get their hair done.
