I've permed my hair myself for about the last year with no issues, and I was looking to get it touched up because it grew out about 4 inches. I figured that to save time and energy, I would just go to a professional this time, and so I picked her because the pictures on her website looked pretty decent. I went in, and she left the perm solution in my hair for 2 HOURS, UNDER HEAT, which is 6 times more than I usually leave it, but I figured she knew what she was doing, so I pushed that to the back of my mind. After she put the neutralizer in my hair, she again, left me there UNDER HEAT, for about 30 minutes. Then she rinsed it out, took the rods out of my hair, and I was on my way. By this time I noticed that my hair was stringy, and barely even wavy at all, but I figured that after I washed and conditioned it, it would all come together. Fast forward a few days. my hair is FRIED, like CRUNCHY, and it's STRAIGHT AS A PIN. It's dry, crunch, and straight, everything it shouldn't be. I paid $100 for my hair to be absolutely destroyed. Now I will admit my hair was lightly bleached before this, but my stylist said that it should be fine to process it again after about 4-5 weeks. And because I've done it on myself for so long with no issue, I feel that my frustration with this salon is valid.
Last minute appointment and she was aable to help! very profesional and has lots of experienc. treated us like family and my sons hair never looked better. went from strait to a curly perm in less than 2 hours. I will definitely be back A-1 service great blow outs and perms!!
