I've been to the local cheap cut joints (if you don't mind a wait), and you just never know what you are going to get. I've been stuck with spaced out post teens and angry old men and women. They work at minimum wage for the man and it shows. You get what you pay for.

The rest of my family goes here and its not always easy to please teens and everyone else but this place does.

I've been getting my hair cut here since 2010 and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Mandie is awesome, but I don't believe it would matter who you got. They are all very fun, friendly, and make the experience worth it. I would highly recommend Venus!
I have been going to Venus Salon for eight years and have always been impressed with the service I have received! I only went for cuts until this year when I decided to start coloring my hair. They did a fantastic job of providing me with options and giving me advice about hair colors. The coloring was fantastic, and I'm so happy with the results. I recommend this salon to ANYONE since they do such a great job with all of their services!
Venus Salon ROCKS! I have been going to Mandie since she moved to Knoxville in the mid-90's. I love how she spends time with each customer, she never rushes during your appointment. I am ALWAYS getting compliments on my haircut and color and regularly hand out her business cards. Some of my friends have been going as long as I have. The salon is newly renovated and looks great! Mandie, Eric and Shannon are awesome!
P.S. I have never found the salon to be understocked - they have always had the hair color and other products readily available -- granted, I don't want my hair died fire engine red, like a stripper, but I have never found the products lacking.
