I've always had a good experience in the Ulta store as a shopper but today was the first time I tried the brow bar. I was very nervous as I've never had my eyebrows waxed for fear of having them done too thin. I made an appointment online with Courtney B for a wax. We were able to get started right on time and she was very kind and listened to my concerns about my brows being to thin. I was very pleased with the outcome and I will be back!
Well...I order some products online and received my order. Two days later, I received another duplicate order, which I didn't order. I called Ulta immediately for return instructions. I was told to take it back to my local store. I am disabled and no longer drive. I told them that. I asked for a free return label and for them to have ups to pick it up. Ulta did not! Another call. I was then told to keep the package and I would not be charged. I was. Then, I wrote them about the matter. I was told that I could no longer charge online b/c I used multiple names and was reselling their products. What? What a way to run a business. I buy products only for my personal use and only use my name. I would give a zero star if I could.
I had a hair appointment today that was scheduled last week. First time to schedule here. I arrived 15 minutes early and was told the stylist was not able to come in today. They cancelled me. no one called me to tell me. I really needed my hair cut . I will not be back

I've never had a bad experience at a Brow Bar anywhere in this country until I walked into Ulta in Roanoke Virginia. At all costs, AVOID getting your eyebrows waxed by Courtney. She will butcher them and not even ask you if you're okay with the work she's done or how she can fix them. Bad customer service. Choose any other brow studio in the city for your own good. Rest in peace.
