Be picky about your tech! Twe is the best nail artist I've ever been to. She is so kind and consistently good. Even though I don't get anything fancy, she still puts in the utmost effort. And I've seen photos of the detailed work she's done on other nails and just.. wow! Amazing. Book through her Instagram and you won't regret it!
The only pro was the cleanliness, price, and nice staff. Their gel color options were limited compared to other salons I've been to, they asked me to come in early and didn't seat me until 5 minutes after my appointment. I got a acrylic fill with gel and 2 nail designs for $45 w/o tip. The nice lady who did my nails had black hair was Hispanic. She filed my nails shorter than I had asked her too, I had to ask her to even out the tilted end for multiple nails, and even so some were still too tilted. I also asked her to smooth out the corners and I still have harsh corners.... I included the picture of the design I asked for(different colors and on my thumb) and you can show what she did. After 10 minutes of her doing and redoing one nail I just took what she had done bc I'm not gonna wait 30 minutes for just the simple design. Nail bar is more expensive, but their nail techs are way more consistent.
I am not sure why it's just a three star. I had a five star experience. We moved to Blacksburg 5 years ago and this was by far the happiest I have been with my nails. They are absolutely perfect. Thank for making me so happy!!!!
This is my second time going to this salon and getting the same nail lady. I showed her a picture of the length and shape I wanted. She proceeded cut them super short and make them super pointy. And when I told her that one side was shorter than the other and not to make the other side shorter because they were already too short. She continued to file down the other side. The edges of my nails are super rough and the nails are even straight. Don't waste your money
My all time favorite nail salon! I went there for the first time around Valentine's Day just to meet up with some of my friends and it has turned out to be the most enjoyable nail salon experience for me. I have seen Julia both times I have visited, and each time she has been so careful, kind, and considerate. She takes incredible care of my nail beds, she is incredibly talented, and she is incredibly sweet to talk to. The other nail artists like Jade are also kind and talented. They create an incredible environment and I will be going back for all of my future nail trips. I can't recommend them enough!! :)
