Today was my first time getting services at this location, i was greeted kindly when i arrived and was offered a refreshment. Ashley Cartharn completed my brow wax, deep pore facial, and body scrub. She was friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be returning!
This place should be amazing. What they do for cancer patients is the only reason they get two stars. I called this location 3 times before driving an hour to get there. At 1:40 in the afternoon we are told there are no students to help us after calling before we walked in and were told they could help us. Mind you, they are open until 6 and no one was doing color or anything else that would take a long time. We said we were patient and would wait and we were told no, that the students needed to go to lunch and often times they don't come back. Seems like a management problem to me. If you want to try, go ahead but it was an epic fail for us.
Spa School Canceled a friend from having any appts there because she sent a bible verse meme along with a text message to stylist with question about appt. My friend's 90 year old mother is not allowed to attend either because her daughter sent bible verse meme. McCarthy - manager discriminated against an elderly person and a client with Cancer.
Thank you Nadia [my awesome fellow New Yorker] for not only hooking up my locs, but for allow me to relax there on after setting up my initial appointment. You turned something around that could've been blown way out of proportion. You recognized, took action and didn't cease to follow through. I appreciate your work ethic, and your craft. Thank you for making my spa day an experience that I'll definitely remember!
