I originally came to Moda to have my eyebrows microbladed, which I have been wanting to do for a long time. My appointment was with Lina, who took her time mapping out my brows, discussing desired shape/thickness, and explaining the entire process to me. She did an AMAZING job; I am thrilled with my brows! I had my touch-up with her recently and, once again, could not be more happy with how they look. Lina is the only one I will trust with my eyebrows, including waxing. She is so personable and warm, and truly a pleasure to talk to during appointments! I absolutely recommend Lina for any eyebrow and waxing service!

I also recently got my makeup done by Olivia. She took the time to ask me what kind of look I was going for and made great suggestions throughout the appointment. I wanted a natural look, which she delivered. At the end of my appointment, she asked if I wanted any final touches and was happy to oblige a final request. Olivia used new brushes and spoolies with each application. She was gentle when applying all makeup, especially around my eyes. I highly recommend Olivia for your makeup needs!

Unfortunately my experience wasn't what I expected or what was described. I booked the "brow love" service which the website description stated as: "Not just a brow wax but a detailed custom brow consultation where we map out your brow and create the perfect shape for you. Includes a brow cleanse, massage + finishing products."
For the mapping out portion, I was expecting to see the stylist use a ruler, and actually mapping out my brows. But that wasn't the case. My stylist, Taylor, simply pointed at the 3 basic points of my brow, which is pretty amateur to me.
I never received a brow cleanse, nor was it mentioned, never received a massage, or finishing products. I was extremely underwhelmed and very disappointed as I had high expectations for this place based on previous Google reviews.

After Taylor got done waxing my brows, there was hardly a difference from when I stepped foot in the door. My husband couldn't even tell a difference, and he can tell a difference after I get my brows threaded.

Taylor was also a bit aggressive when she was plucking some of my brow hair, it did hurt a bit and she wasn't pulling my skin taut. I have a high pain tolerance so I could withstand it.

If my brow service resulted like this, I'm hesitant on trying other services they have to offer. With that being said I won't be returning.

I can not say it enough,if you haven't had a facial by Ashley you don't know what your missing!  I LOVED the hydro facial and I just got a Fire and Ice facial today. Ashley is so knowledgeable and makes you feel completely comfortable. My face looks and feels so nice! I booked another facial and can't wait! Book with Ashley, you won't regret it ~Danielle
