I went last Saturday and got my hair done by Maenylie (@_hairbymae) and absolutely love my hair. I had just taken braids out so she washed, conditioned, trimmed and flat ironed. I love how my hair feels- so soft and bouncy. The shampoo she used felt so refreshing on my scalp and I will definitely be going back and would recommend her services!

The best stylist. Danielle, thanks so much for making feel like Da Bomb!! She does all crochets, sew-in, relaxer ....etc They have coffee most days and good conversation as well.

I stoped by 3 different times during "normal business hours" and doors were locked with no signs on the door. I called several times to try and get an appointment or literally just to speak with someone. No answer any time.

I was a call-in customer, and the stylist named Ice offered to do my hair. Cool. When I first walked in, I was impressed with the organization and cleanliness of the shop. I wanted to get a roller set and deep conditioning. My hair is natural, so I was pretty sure my hair is a challenge for most. When she started, she began detangling my hair with a small tooth comb, and it hurt like hell. She apologized for being heavy handed. I appreciated that, but at some points, it felt like I was going to throw up. She finally gave up trying to detangle my "dry" hair and proceeded to wash. Ok. The wash was just ok. I didn't realize until I got home that she scratched me on my neck with her fingernails. Fast forward to the style... I do not believe my hair was fully dry when she took my rollers out, because as soon as I got to the car, my hair began to revert back to its natural state. I have never walked out of a salon with hair looking worse than it did when I walked in, but this was the case today. I gave it two starts because the stylist was friendly and the place was clean. If I was to return, I'd see another stylist, but I will never return. Last thing, they have the credit card stickers on the door, but apparently, they don't accept them. I also paid $90 for a wash and set, deep condition and trim. Pros: friendly Clean Cons: expensive (for what my hair looked like once completed) The Stylist (Ice) seemed inexperienced with natural hair Update: the stylist reached out to me and offered to fix my hair free of charge. I commend her on her efforts to please her customers.

I came here for Senegalese twists. Cynthia worked quickly and efficiently on my hair. She finished faster than I expected and her work is beautiful. She also does children's hair too so I will bring my daughter next time.
