my hair was in need of help, it was dry and brittle and of course I needed to get it revitalized thru some color. Age tends to really damage women's hair along with not using the right products. Tamer Mickel's salon turned my hair back to a bouncy, shinny, and soft mane. It has been almost three months and my hair still feels amazing . thank you Tamer. you and your staff were very kind and friendly. it's time to go back, the greys are coming back up but my hair feels soft and bouncy... awesome hair Salon.

LEXI BABA is truly amazing. I went to get a re-touch, cut/ style for myself, and H/C for my 2 daughters for the first time. Lexi was able to get us in right away. She knew exactly what we wanted without us having to explain so much. It was an amazing service. We LOVED the results. She was super fast and efficient, and all 3 of us got done in less than 2 hrs. She is also an amazing therapist, haha, listening to me the entire time venting about personal stuff... I can't wait for my next appointment with Lexi. I highly recommend her.

Many (many) years ago, I met a 'new' stylist at a salon in Burlingame named Christina. She was just starting out and although she was old enough to be my daughter, I was very impressed with not just her skill set, but her personality! She had 'sass' (which is a compliment!) and she was 100% authentic and honest, something I realllly appreciate in the 'beauty arts!' As is common in the industry, she changed salons a few times and I always found her as she was the total package and worth the drive from Pacifica every four weeks. Life threw me some curve balls which caused me to move out of the area for the past 11 years. Fortunately for me (and my hair), I moved back and am living in the East Bay now and decided to track her down again, finding her at Tamer Mickel Salon! Despite the distance, I just knew that I had to see her as my hair just hadn't been the same since I moved (despite living in a trendy, big city), so I booked an appointment which took place earlier today. Beyond the joy I felt in reconnecting with her as a human, her skill set has only gotten BETTER (which is hard to fathom since she was already the best I'd ever had)! There's a reason she is a Master Colorist/Stylist and I greatly benefitted from not only her talents, but her integrity in doing what works best for me. I trust her judgment 100% and just let her run with it and she hit it out of the park! I'm an older person (61) who is not ready to give in to the gray hair I've had since I was 18 and she literally transformed my color with highlights, base color and new layers and I still cannot get over how amazing my hair looks! It exceeded my high expectations and I felt the need to share my thoughts and experiences here as a truly talented hair/beauty professional is so hard to find, but I'm so grateful to have found mine. She is worth every minute of the two hour round trip and I'm already counting the days until I see her again!

We come here to see Armando for my son's hair cut. We followed Armando from his previous salon. He does a great , smooth fading job for men. Seamless :) And the salon staff is so warm and friendly. They are all just so great. I love coming here.

It's a very unwelcoming place. The receptionist was hard to hear, didn't ask how things went and didn't even know how my stylist accepted payment. My hair stylist was in an odd mood that made me feel so unwelcome as if she wanted to hurry things up and move on. Sure enough, the moment I finished and got up to thank her, she had already moved on to her next client without any farewell. It was so rude.
