although my nails were how I wanted them customer service was quite awkward. I am assuming the individual who initially assisted me was new. But I request a deluxe pedicure it was confirmed on the phone the gel was included in the deluxe pedicure so I was happy to spend 55 dollars which was the price that the individual confirmed on the phone. I also confirmed again in person with the same individual and he said " yes , gel is included in deluxe pedicure". I was excited. im pregnant so I needed a pedicure. anyways, they put the foot bath on and the water is cold , I asked for it to be hot again but only a little bit of hot water was added. oh well , massage, nails were done well. I think exfoliation would have been better but it felt nice so I won't pay too much mind to that. I had cracked toenail and asked if they could put acrylic on it at the beginning , the woman doing my nails and another person said it would be 10 extra dollars which I was perfectly okay with. so when it comes time to do my nail and repair it, the male recommended not doing acrylic because he did want it to get more damaged, he suggested extra gel Polish on top instead. I took his suggestion and also liked saving money so I said okay to just the gel. I didn't get the end of pedicure lotion for some reason and when It came time to pay, they told me it was 55 for deluxe pedi + 18 for gel + 10 for acrylic. I disclosed I did not get acrylics, I got gel . they then stated it was extra for the gel they used. I was a little bothered with the mis communication. I didn't see a menu anywhere to see prices written down it was just word of mouth to me. I ended up paying more that 100 for my pedi which was in my normal spending especially since I didn't get a manicure included. The spot was lovely . loved the smell of lemon and all the snacks and treats they offered and they helped me get out of the chair. but I think new person needs assistance still. I know it gets busy but training is essential .

The place looks amazing! Everyone working there was extremely friendly and kind. I'm pretty sure that the lady that did my nails was Archie, she was incredible!!! Such a patient and kind person. Love this place

I have been going to Tamika nail salon for about 5 years now. Travis is my go to guy for nails and lashes. I. Love. It. Here. The salon is clean, the crew is accommodating, the price is fair and the work exceeds my very high standards. Travis is not the owner of the salon but is like the ambassador, he clearly cares about everyone's experience. I was in the salon today when a woman came in and asked for a mani/pedi. I heard the whole conversation. She wasn't clear that she was in a hurry when she got there and she did not wait 20 minutes. She proceeded to questioned every move her pedicurist made, was rude and condescending to Travis telling him that he should've told her only one person would be working on her and that she was in a hurry. And THEN proceeded to talk shit about them on a phone call. Travis did show concern when she said she had an allergic reaction but upon checking out her feet it was clear to him that it was the old polish on her toes. Customer service is my jam and I'm confident there was nothing he could've said or did today to make her happy.

A very negative experience. First I walked in and said I had limited time and wanted my mani and pedi at once. They said yea that should be fine then waited 20 minutes before they started on my Pedi. Then they applied some sort of gel remover which started burning my toenails. I told the nail technician, but I'm not sure she understood m. Once she removed the gel polish my toenails started to turn super red, and when I told her that I was allergic to whatever she was using, the gentleman told me that these were stains from my red polish that was on, which was not true because I did not have red polish on. I had light pink polish on. They didn't seem interested to address my concern and the guy seemed like he just wanted me to leave. I'm not sure if he's the salon owner or not but if he is he really should work on customer service skills. I asked not to apply polish and they still charged me full price which made no sense. Never going back.

If you book an appointment here, book it with Travis only. His work is nice. I don't recommend anyone else. This isn't the first time Brian has done my nails. He has done it several times, and from several times 3 times, there have been bubbles in my nails. And it's right before Christmas, and I got chrome nails, and there are bubbles in it. The last time I had Chrome done, there were no bubbles. Paying $70 for bubbles in your nails isn't worth it. And to top it off, instead of fixing it, I was told if i want it fixed, the color would not be the same, and I would have to choose another color. The prices here are outrageous, though. Nails aren't straight , from the side, you can see waves. You can see it in person, it doesn't show properly in the picture cause of the color.
