Supercuts in Plaistow, NH

( I was denied services because I'm black)
No one should be confident enough to call themselves a hair dresser when you can't even do the bare minimum of washing natural hair on a black person. What's the point of going to cosmetology school if you don't know how to wash everyone's hair. I even offered to bring my own supplies because she stated that that would also be a problem. Since they don't have any products to cater to my texture type. Hire a black person who's experienced or learn how to do your job.

This place is well deserving of its poor ratings. I only get a haircut two or three times a year, mainly went here out of habit and it was close by me. A really nasty manager many years ago nearly kept me out of there. Haircut was just ok, sometimes good. Absolutely crappy customer skills over the years for the most part, though. SC Plaistow is more suited for kiddies and little old ladies, not guys of any age imho. A lot of cross gibberish with the women working there, far less focus on the customer. It had been ok at one time when I saw a regular or two that was attentive and cared-(consistency). Doesn't seem to be that way now. The last time (and the last time I will Ever go there), I was greeted, if you want to call it that, by a  large blonde woman who came to the front desk with a gruff tone-sounded like what do YOU want in translation.Got worse  from there- this person and I could not communicate well. It seemed we argued about what a 2 or three blade and a finish with hand scissoring would be like. I finally gave up, the woman took a blade to my longish/thickish hair and with the first stroke I was essentially in a military/bald cut. I stated I wanted close-not whiffle. At that point I simply gave up and let this dominant person essentially shave me. The resulting grow back after almost three months is still unsatisfying. Ignore the commercials(if they even run anymore) and avoid Plaistow SuperCuts like the plague. There are other SC locations I have tried which are better, but I think the old fashioned barber is the best place for a guy to go. P.S. , Thank God for baseball caps.

Not good for kids. I brought my son in for a haircut. Halfway through the stylist said he was moving too much and she couldn't finish his haircut. He left looking like a mess and she still charged me. She was really rude about it. Went across the street and Great Clips finished it just fine. But I ended up paying for two haircuts. Just skip Super Cuts and go to Great Clips instead.

There are very few people that I trust to give me a good quality haircut, Kristen is one of them and I highly recommend her. I also believe it is under new management because things have definitely been improving

Want to give a HUGE shootout too the girls @Supercuts in Plaistow N.H. Always smiling, happy & super professional.  I've been going there for years, to have Judy do my hair. I wouldn't go anywhere else! You should be Proud of your Plaistow staff & the Amazing work they do, on a daily basis
