I called this location to see how much it would cost to get my Mother's hair dyed, washed, conditioned, and styled. The associate that answered the phone said " we charge by the hour, not the service.' I asked her how much will it cost. The associate paused and asked someone what my price would be. The associate finally responded " The cost will be $99.99." I asked was that for the color alone? The associate answered "No the wash, condition, and style are included." I also advised the associate that my Mom is African American and wanted to know if they do our type hair and that her hair length is past her shoulder. The associate's attitude changed for a brief moment when she answered , Yes. The color came out really nice and my Mom was happy with her hair and the service. Everything went down hill when I went to the register. Susan said "your total is $165.00." This took me by surprise. I advised Susan that I was quoted $99 over the phone for everything. Susan stated (contradicted) " all of our services are ala carte. I heard what the associate said to you over the phone and she said ala carte." I advised, NO she did not say anything about ala carte on the call." I inquired what am I paying extra for?. Susan stated "you are paying an extra $50 for the blow out and $22 for the flat iron." I told her that I was told the style was included.. How can you style a wet head y'all? You can't! ( Susan is African American and knows this as well.) I was not going to go back and forth or upset my Mom with a debate. Supercuts may have gotten over by overcharging me another $65.00 BUT I will share this experience on every social media outlet so that other consumers are made aware.
This place is awful!!! Save yourself the heartache!! No stars should be added but I wanted to post this to warn others.
I took my kids today for hair cut as a first time. Staff were very nice and had a great skills. They even used hot towel on the neck after the hair cut, my kids loved it.
We'll difinatelly go back again!
