My hair is completely ruined after coming to this salon. I came in asking for a brown all over dye and I was told that wasn't possible with my hair color and was recommended balayage, I assumed the stylist knew what she was talking about and agreed, only stressing that I did NOT want my hair to be orange because I know my hair is dark and typically turns orange with bleach. The stylist told me that she would use a toner and this would not be an issue.  When she finished my hair it was so damaged from the bleach and a vibrant dirty orange brownish color, I was told to "come back and dye it in a month" because my results couldn't be achieved in one dye. I was only told this after my hair was ruined. I bought a box dye on the way home to return it to brown and my hair is now absolutely destroyed for 150$. I'm sure this place can handle a haircut but don't ask for anything more than that if you don't want to risk your hair being damaged and compromised.

First Yelp post!  Had to because Jessica at Mojo City Salon did an amazing job on my hair color and haircut this past Tuesday.  I have been commuting to Charleston for sometime to have my hair done.  I am so relieved that I have found someone closer to home.  Amazing highlights and lowlights.

I started visiting this salon about eight years ago, and I have enjoyed every single cut and color! I've definitely been all over the place with what I want to do in regards to my hair, and Jessica has met and exceeded every expectation. She helped me go blonde, she helped me when I thought a body wave was a good idea (the keratin treatment I got to correct it was FANTASTIC), she helped me through bangs and growing them out again.. All of it! I would recommend her services, hands down, no questions! She listens to what you want, and also uses some of her own knowledge and judgement as a trained professional to make the best fit for you. Give her a shot fo sho!

I've been seeing Jessica for the past 8 years at Mojo and I have never had a bad experience.  Not only is the salon clean and professional, but the care she takes with her clients cannot be matched.  She takes time to understand what you want and knows every client's taste and preference.  If I were to ever be unhappy with a cut or color (highly unlikely) I know she would go above and beyond to work until I was happy.  You can see the concentration on her face when she works and you can tell it's an art to her.  She is a perfectionist!  You don't find this kind of service at a chain salon or any other establishment in the service industry.  Mojo is a special place and I won't trust anyone else with my hair.

Jessica ALWAYS does an AMAZING job on my color, cut, and style! She is very kind and always is very warm when I go to see her!!!! For anyone that is in a hair rut and wants a fabulous new look Jessica is your girl
