I had an appointment for a body wave permanent with Linda and had even specified the type of permanent I wanted. When I arrived I asked to see the permanent she was going to use and told her it was not the exact type I had requested. She said it was much better than the one I had specified. I then asked to see the rollers she intended to use and told her I thought they were too small and would like to see larger ones. She brought out some larger ones, but said they would not produce the results I wanted and to trust her as she had been doing this for 50 years. Well, I did trust her and got exactly what I didn't want. I had even pointed out some of the other patrons that had curls after their permanents before she started and told her that was what I didn't want, but she apparently wasn't listening to me as that was what I got. When I pointed out this was NOT a body wave she asked the beautician next to her if this was a body wave and she even told her NO, it was curls (which I specifically told her I didn't want). What is so bad here is that I took a lot of time explaining what I was there for and she turned a deaf ear. The worst part is there is not much I can do to correct this mess. I tried washing it out when I got home and that didn't work. I AM SICK!!
